Kura and it's environs in Kano is mainly known for planting Rice and Onions but not wheat.

Kura has really diversify and gone beyond Rice and Onion production, they also cultivate wheat now, i am a rice and wheat grower and i have fields at kura, Bugau, Kore, Samawa, Dakasoye, Makwaro.... Etc some these aforementioned are close to Kura
