In the latest social media saga gripping Nigerian cyberspace, activist Verydarkblackman has firmly asserted his independence in the wake of a publicized rift with music sensation Davido.

The online discourse erupted following revelations by controversial radio presenter Daddy Freeze, who disclosed Davido’s purported disassociation from Verydarkblackman due to the activist’s outspoken nature.

Verydarkblackman swiftly responded to Davido’s alleged comments, taking to his Instastory to declare his unwavering stance on autonomy over his social media presence.

“Davido cannot tell me what to post on my platform. He doesn’t feed me, he doesn’t clothe me, he doesn’t pay my rent,” asserted Verydarkblackman, signaling a refusal to be dictated to, regardless of any past associations.

The activist’s proclamation elicited a flurry of reactions from the online community, with some labeling him as ungrateful.
