The Northern lands needs to be cultivated, however it is almost impossible to bring security in the North. This is because the insecurity there are usually politicised and it is politicians that sponsors it

You lack knowledge. What are they planting in the north that can't be achieved in your state? Don't you have insecurity in your state too? Have you been to the north at all? Even with insecurity, they are still self sufficient in agricultural goods. Obi should concentrate on his people first before thinking about the north.

You lack understanding. Did Obi say that South do not need Agriculture? Every Nigerian region has its strength. He only mentioned one of the key strengths of the North while speaking to the Northern leadership. Obi is right.
