The Lagos-Calabar Highway is Tinubu's project.

He will rather die than reveal the cost of the project.

Tinubu, shady, and dubious deals are like 5 and 6. There's nothing like transparency and accountability when Tinubu is involved. He is a notorious drug dealer, for Pete's sake.

The money from this contract will be used to finance the 2027 election.

Construction firms are Nigeria's biggest money launderers. It is the reason contract figures are inflated; some, like the Lagos-Calabar Highway, are shrouded in secrecy because they are avenues where government officials launder public funds.

You will wail and wait tire like Atiku. Enemies of progress.

Atiku should go and rest because when your PDP Party was there for 16- years, with no single Infrastructure,so what happens to all the Budgets for those 16- years?
Which shows ,you are not going to change but now,a Party is doing what you failed to do but you are just looking for excuses ,as an attackc

You are actually the one who needs this advice the most.

Because of bigotry, you now see every constructive criticism against Tinubu through the prism of bitterness.
Emancipate yourself from ethnic and tribal bigotry and watch your life blossom.

Atiku through Paul Ibe recalled that the Goodluck Jonathan administration had in November 2014 the contract for the same 10-state, 22-station project with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) at a cost of $11.97 billion.

Noting that the administration left office before it could implement it, Atiku said that the succeeding administration of President Muhammadu Buhari had reviewed it downwards by $800 million to $11.1 billion with a three year completion period even though it continued to stall.

t/

Atiku is a fraud. The above is the first statement he made before Bayo Onanuga exposed his folly and ignorance. Onanuga reminded him the coastal highway project has never been awarded. It is only Coastal railway project that was awarded and Jonathan and Buhari are still alive for verification. Now, he seems to have woken up from slumber to admit his folly and ignorance on the figures he earlier released.

Few days after Senator Ningi's allegation of double budget by the presidency and the foolish diversion to an irrelevant budget padding by OBI people, on social media and later on nairaland, I said the real reason for Ningi's outburst was the Lagos Calabar Highway Project announced by Dave Umahi. Many of us had expected such outburst but not too soon.

The points raised by Atiku in this second attack on the project are as foolish as the first one. I will wait for Umahi responses on figures before mine. He expected the whole 700Km to be funded by PPP. This is a project that has been on ground for decades . I remembered it was one of the projects ABIOLA wanted to execute if elected. They killed ABIOLA and killed the project. When the Federal Roads were tolled , how many toll gates do they placed on the roads in the North compared to the ones in the South especially South West?

Lagos to Ibadan around 150km was awarded to Bi-Courtney on PPP by OBJ , for 7 years he could not raise funds because of how FG scuttled agreement at MM2 after OBJ left. Nobody can award Abuja to Kaduna or Abuja to Kano on PPP but Atiku expects companies to execute the whole 700km Lagos Calabar Highway Project on PPP.

Atiku now remember the economy is bad to Undertake Coastal Highway Project but when Buhari was taking loans for Ajaokuta Kaduna Kano pipeline project Niger Republic rail and others he never made comments. All the money spent to prospect for oil in the North for 4 decades are not subject to public debate but no outcry.

Based on what I heard Dave Umahi never said HITECH is the sole contractor, he never said everything would be concrete. He said the jobs would be executed section by section. It is the Atlantic City, Lekki Deep Seaport and access route to Dangote Refineries that created economic exigencies and necessities for first section.

Which competitive bidding was carried out for INTEL Logistics deals at the Seaports during Obasanjo and Yaradua Jonathan government? The money Atiku made at the Seaports is more than the money required to complete the Lagos Calabar Highway Project.

All defence contracts, Security Contracts, Attorney General deals, petroleum (oilfields/crude oil) and Maritime deals which they use to impoverished Nigeria are well known to him but because it concerns projects that affected VI/Lekki/Ajah which they expected would be submerged by Atlantic Ocean but which by Mercy of God and Courage of Tinubu survived they are now attacking the project.

I said what you bolded out of sympathy. I spent 6yrs at a Federal University in IBO land several years ago and visit IBO land very often and nothing has changed. Yorubas remain the most liberal major ethnic tribe in Nigeria.

Atiku does not have constructive criticism on projects where he is milking Nigeria dry. Where his people are milking Nigeria he has no constructive criticism. If Tinubu awards highway project and rail line to Cameroon he will not say anything.

Defence contracts, Security Contracts, Attorney General deals and petroleum (oilfields/crude oil) and Maritime deals which they use to impoverished Nigeria are well known to him, he keeps quiet because he believes they own Nigeria but because it concerns projects that affected VI/Lekki/Ajah which they expected would be submerged by Atlantic Ocean but which by Mercy of God and Courage of Tinubu survived they are now attacking the project.

I want to assume you are a youth if not 30+, then you should be around 40+ or even as young as 20+. However and whichever party affiliation you are, your instinct should tell you that questions must be asked if we see figures like this from our leaders. Things like these should not be hidden from the public. Atiku said this and you said he is pained. For what reason should he be pained? Do you even know this Man financial capacity? Nawa ooo
