The Obiawusa toilet borehole is still paining ipob, they are trying so hard to deflect the issue to somewhere else. Lagos can't stoop so low to Obiawusa borehole.
Stop sounding like a common tout without the capacity to reason logically.

Don't mind the f*olish and wretched souls that has donated nothing to their community let alone others' but pain, nuisance and crime but they're quick to judge someone who from the goodness of his heart donated water to those in need of it who also appreciated it.

Asked, they would say he is using a stolen fund

Are they cursed that they can't become a governor like him, stole the funds and do better than him?

Why didn't Tinubu and the succeeding governors of Lagos use the stolen funds they've been stealing to solve the water issue or do something better than what Obi did?

F*ols and cursed souls

Re: Over Eight Million Lagosians Lack Access To Good Water – CSO by ivandragon:
Hmm...

It is disheartening to see that the political and economic oppressors are winning this 'war' of accountability.

They have so thoroughly succeeded in dividing the country, especially the South, that where you come from is more important than holding those in government responsible for providing basic amenities.

Is it now a crime to keep the government on its toes? Why has 'racism' become second nature to the Igbos and Yorubas? The supposedly most enlightened ethnic nationalities in Nigeria?

Have they become so brow beaten by the oppressors that they take succour in being 'racist'?

Imagine a Caucasian telling a Nigerian that his people are 'backward'. We would shout racism or discrimination, but would the Caucasian be wrong seeing how Igbos and Yorubas behave like spoilt brats?

The oppressors have succeeded in inculcating some very damaging perspectives on the followers. So One keeps carrying a chip of marginalisation on its shoulder and lashes out unreasonably while the other is power drunk and blinded by ego.

In the end, both are losers in the larger scheme of governance because the oppressors are allowed to escape responsibility.

I hope before 2027, Nigerians would have someone who can be rallied behind by all ethnic nationalities. Someone who truly puts Nigerians and Nigeria first and leads with commonsense.

Someone who does not have deeply disturbing baggage, or whose public performances in the past are at variance with his/her modern day posturing. Someone who is ready to lead, but not desperate to rule.

Someone who Nigerians can support or criticise without being ethnically influenced.

Lawmaker scores Lagos Water Corporation low

A Lagos State lawmaker, Mr Saka Fafunmi, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction at the performance of the state Water Corporation.

Fafunmi, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), said in Ikeja that the corporation had not been able to justify statutory allocations to it.

The lawmaker, who represents Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 1 at the assembly, spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He said that the corporation had the capacity to generate much fund internally through water rates but had relied solely on government funding because of poor performance.

'' Anyone that is using water will be willing to pay for it; the corporation has not been giving us water.

"Is there any new community that Water Corporation has given water? People depend on boreholes; even government estates have industrial boreholes.

"Why do we keep pumping money into an agency that does not give us the desired results?'' he asked.

He noted that the Adiyan Waterworks was located at Ifako-Ijaiye, where many of the residents had resorted to digging boreholes as a means of getting water.

''A lot of people are falling sick because they don't drink clean water.

''In the same compound, where you have sewage, is where you have a borehole.

''There is no way you can manage the sewage that it will not leak and pollute the water; everyone drinking such is drinking contaminated water,'' he said.

The lawmaker urged the corporation to increase water reticulation and supply to residents.

My brother, when I was doing my NYSC, I met a lot of them . You can't imagine about 8 Yoruba corpers all claiming to be from Lagos still Lagos has the least number of indigenous residents.
In their sober moment, they will tell you the truth about their real state, Wale a man in his late twenties told me that he is from Ogun but only visited once when his father took him there as a kid and to think that Ogun is a stone throw from Lagos made me shook my head.

On the other hand, Gbenga who is from ekitit said he never visited at all
Very pathetic set of people
