It easy to criticize Buhari for all the ills but we are yet to see you compliment Tinubu that facilitated n authorized Air Peace license to Gatwick.

Buhari and his cohorts need to be FLOGGED for that scam, sham and shame of Nigeria Air. Imagine Nigeria had a national carrier. The monopolists' hold would be broken.

When there is no VISION, the people PERISH!!

If not for corruption, what will give those bastard foreign airlines the gut to do what they're doing. Ripping us off.

We ha e everything in this country, but what we don't have is LEADERSHIP.
Jobless mofos like Helinues, Legendhero and other unfortunate agbadorians will not agree. They like supporting our oppressors.

I enjoined all patriotic Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion to patronize AIR PEACE and make those bastard foreign airlines pay for their years of evils against the Nigerian people.

I rest my case.

The Leadership is a microcosm of the people.

We are not nice people. We take advantage of each other at the slightest opportunity. Evidence abound all around in the offices, hospitals, markets, queues, etc

It is this same behavior that shows when people get elevated to a higher position. The behaviour has always been there. Everybody forming smart, and using nepotism to make judgement.

We are deceiving ourselves by looking at a phantom Leadership. This will continue till end of the world if we do not change our behaviour at the individual level.

No matter how many Leadership changes happen, the same result will be gotten until we change the mindset of a significant population say 70-80% of our people.

This is an indication of what I have been saying.

Air Peace came in and reduced FAREs and the Monopoly enjoyed by other airlines was scattered.

Instead of people to be happy and appreciate a business man that dared the Monopoly of all these foreign Airlines that rob NIGERIAN citizens blind. They are supporting the foreign Airlines above their own NIGERIAN counterpart. Is it because he is IGBO?

Imagine Dangote, a known capitalist that kills his fellow country men floats an Airline. His prices will be more than the foreign Airlines sef. This Dangote will be praised by the Loyalist from the region of OWAMBE crusaders. grin

As for Air Peace, sensible NIGERIANs will stand behind you and give you support. Lets see how the foreign Airlines will maintain their dubious activities.

NIGERIAN Government should give Air Peace a better deal so that he grows. If not let IGBOs have their BIAFRA so NIGERIANs will have their AIR NIGERIA and foreign Airlines to contend with

Na WA!

Some Nigerian big heads never wanted this Airpeace - London flight to work because they know what they're benefiting... Thank God no more food for them.

Like I used to say, if we don't use this opportunity a Southerner is the president and fix Nigeria, next time it's going to the north, we're completely finished

I don't think it has to do with which part of the country a leader should come from, either has to do with patriotism. If we all are patriotic enough Naija will change

The foreign Airlines has not committed any sin, its purely marketing strategy at work!!

Before Air Peace entered the market they should be prepared for such marketing strategy and response by existing players.

It shows Air Peace did not do a proper due diligence, your rivals must react in the market!

There is no foul play here,Similar thing happened in the telecoms sector in Nigeria and Glo weather the storm so Air Peace should park one side if they are not ready to go the long haul

Is Air peace not have a field day in the African market she operates in especially in Nigeria.

They were not trying to be competitive, they were simply trying to set a trap for Nigerian, same scenario have played out with arik in the past, Nigerian are the ones that bare the brunt

The foreign airlines conspired to push out arik from UK route and as soon as they achieved it they overinflated their price thereby running a group monopoly, same is what they want to do with air peace unless we Nigerian are too dull to see

As soon as the United foreign airlines successfully push out air peace they will take their price back to 3m for economy, how can the price of Nigeria to London be twice the price of Accra to London, is the distance twice far?

Those foreign airlines are running a united monopoly and fortunately for them Nigerian through tribalism are enabling them

In 3 years time when air peace is finally sent packing expect Nigeria-UK tickets to be around 5m while Ghana is less than 1m

United monopoly = cartel

Air Peace will succeed as long as we have a southern as president of Nigeria.

I can see your sense is full and pouring... Yet you don't know what is competitive advantage in business.
apologies.for the earlier attack.

Competitive advantage and comparative advantage you quoted does not apply in this case. If BA crashes its fare to 500k as speculated, that's far below cost of production/operation and the sole intent is.negative. there is no comparative advantage that will.make Airpeace operate at 400k except govt subsidy. So there is no basis to blame the new entrant for dirty games of the dominant player in the market.
Re: Air Peace Flight To London Sparks Price War Among Foreign Airlines by OluwaBlessyn: 11:29am On Apr 11
Hmmm

At this point in time,I just wish if we Nigerians traveling out stick to AirPeace cuz as other airlines like Lufthansa,KLM and the likes are dropping their price, they are still benefiting from it,there is still gain there looking at how they’ve explored us in the past years

Some of us on the other hand would want to patronize where it is cheaper which I am fearing because these airlines are dropping their price lower than AirPeace,if we can stick to AirPeace,we will see that we are being explored by these people
Re: Air Peace Flight To London Sparks Price War Among Foreign Airlines by writeprof(m): 11:30am On Apr 11
AIR PEACE should be nationalised immediately. Nigerian government/citizens 50 per cent ownership and Onyeama and Co 50 per cent.

AIR PEACE should be used to begin work on the idea of bringing back our national carrier via a PPP scheme.

Whether we agree or not, the Nigerian government must ensure that AIR PEACE overcome this AIRLINES NEOCOLONIAL CONSPIRACY supported by some African/Nigerian saboteurs/traitors.

What I mean by nationalised here is Public Private Partnership (PPP) system that would leave Onyeama and Co run the business while the government is to provide other supports as shareholders.

I never blamed the new entrant. You could read my earlier comment. I was only saying that Airpeace should have envisaged this aviation politics and manipulation. I advised consequently thinking out of the bus using the competitive advantage they have to remain in business. What are these competitive advantages? Firstly, Airpeace can operate London routes from all local airports in Nigeria and transfer at Lagos to London. No airline in Nigeria have this advantage. Secondly, Airpeace takes off from Nigeria and land at London with any layover stop (only BA have does this). Thirdly the promotion of African culture and dishes in the flight is another one.
In business everything is not about price. BA flight price has been double of other airlines, yet people fly BA because of the direct flight to and fro London.

I'm full blooded Yoruba but unfortunately with the conduct and utterances of some of my people (and some south eastern) I really doubt there is anything call South just like we have North

Seems all we have is south East, south West and south South, it doesn't look like we can depend on each other or support each other government or businesses

It's unfortunate but na we south be the master of senseless tribalism
