Lt. Col. Buka Suka Dimka was a Nigerian Army officer who played a key role in the February 13, 1976, abortive coup d'état in Nigeria. During this coup attempt, Dimka was involved in the assassination of General Murtala Ramat Mohammed, who was the Head of State of Nigeria at the time. General Murtala Ramat Mohammed was assassinated in his car during the coup attempt on February 13, 1976. Buka Suka Dimka was one of the officers involved in the planning and execution of the coup, which aimed to overthrow the military government led by General Murtala Ramat Mohammed.
