An Islamic Scholar in Minna, hearing of Obi’s recent donations across the North, has appealed to him to come to his and his students aid by constructing a borehole for them as their current source of water is unhealthy.

He spoke in Hausa. So, maybe someone who understands Hausa can help us with the full interpretation of what he said.

Smiles..... Some of us refuse to think logically.

Someone is doing many borehole projects across the country with his own money. You are comparing him with someone that did one. Where is the ground for comparison now?

You see why God says they that compare themselves against themselves are not wise?

More over, a city would need a dignifying structure than a remote village... This should also be obvious.

Now, it is clear the boreholes are helpful. Irrespective of how magnificent or not the structures are, provided they are doing the work, it is fine.

Let's just stop this worthless comparison and say thank you to all those that are generous enough to provide such facilities from their pockets, the people using it are happy after all.

In all honesty, Peter Obi has been setting some good leadership examples since last year elections.

You can call it eye service (and you might be right), but the result still remains the same... Bringing succor and smiles to average citizens.


He didn't allow the pain and bitterness of elections stop him from performing this community outreach...!

This is a breath of fresh air when compared to past aspirants who only show up to eat with Almajiri kids during election periods.
