A community needed drinkable water, a Nigerian provided access to one, the community is happy and grateful, why are some other elements bitter?

Funny the same bitter people have not held their elected politicians accountable, who have access to our collective tax payers money, for not providing drinkable water to that same community.

Plus is it about aesthetic or providing drinkable water?

Maybe we should flog a Nigerian who provided water for his fellow Nigerians, because he did not do the mason dressing very well, paint it properly? as if he is the artisan contracted?

If you can produce one of them commissioning something close to as horrible as what a 2 time governor just did, I will drop this conversation or categorize the person as an horrible ediot like the one that commisioned 1 million naira borehole wirh more than 20million naira.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do a charitable thing of donating borehole to the community that needed it, it's absolutely laudable.

The money he spent commissioning could have built 10 of that borehole for more communities in the north if he is really sincere about the donation and not just trying to score cheap political points.

What he did is highly commendable, he a private citizen with his own money gave water to those in dire need of it.

State senators don't get much in terms of allocation. In fact, they barely get their salaries. That's why you hardly see state senators commission anything unlike federal.

I'm sure you don't even know the state senator representing your local government because he has zero impact on your life like the local government chairman. And those ones have been rendered useless too by state governors.

But anyone who thinks that spending over 5-20 million on logistics to fly all the way to the North and packing entourage and cameras just to commission a public toilet looking borehole that an ordinary corps member earning 30k or less as salary can build is a prudent way of spending money or doing charity work, then that person needs his brain to be checked at Yaba Left.
