Air peace should adopt different and local marketing strategies apart from pricing competition. IPOB members should stop seeing everything from tribal and political settlement. Tinubu reform is yielding positive results hence air peace get licence to London root. 1 Like |

Frigga13:slytiger is correct, quite obvious you know nothing. There are people I know, money or no money they must travel business class BA or Virgin, let alone entering air peace. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

plaetton:You leave the person that first attacked him with poverty insult even though it had nothing to with Reno's post and at best a failed attempt at derailment. You instead went for sly's reply to defend himself . Nairaland needs to start conducting an IQ test on some posters because I see a lot of mkuru Miri induced post like this one I quoted. blacknp:That is actually very common. My parents have always flown BA, then switch to the defunct Virgin Nigeria, and now Virgin Atlantic to Heathrow. Which was what Reno was talking about. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

The FG could do the folowing: Designate Air Peace as a company of 'Strategic National Importnace'. Give them access to extrmely low interest rate business credit, direct from CBN. Give them tax exemptions for the next 3 years. Give them waivers on aiport landing costs at MM Airport. All these will help them in the price war with the foriegn airlines. Air peace should look at offering full ticket options, for example Enugu/Owerri/Akure/Benin/Asaba.. To London. If someone can book from Asaba, check in your luggage in Asaba, fly to Lagos and then to London, that will be big advantage and many pepople would go for that. The same on return, you check in your laugguage in London, and pick it up, when you arrive in Enugu/Asaba/ Benin.. Air peace should leverage their domestic network to offer a full serive that the likes of BA and virgin can't |

Reno talking like he have zero sense when it comes to business and strategy Air Peace actually can't compete with all those airlines, just like no other mobile phone can compete with Apple iPhone most especially financial war chest In mobile phones market Apple couple of years ago had a stockpile of over hundred billion dollars of money Just like Nigeria can't compete with US whose Economy is over 25 trillion dollars while Nigeria's economy is paltry 450billion dollars This topic is beyond Renos scope of reasoning When the game maters Air Peace can't actually compete due to many factors; Fleet of aircrafts, years of experience, customer share etc But Air Peace can still survive If they offer reasonable profitable fare If they enhance there services like food etc If they offer direct flight cutting down flight to destination time If considering all these Nigerians patronize them They can survive But if Nigerian market don't patronize them They will lose the game But Nigerian passengers will still bear the consequences Because those airlines will definitely go back to charging high fare as they were doing to Nigerian passengers before Air Peace came in and brought the price down All our neighboring African countries were getting cheaper/ affordable Air fare unlike Nigerians that were completely ripped off and the government couldn't do anything So if Air Peace loose out it goes back to status quo finally |

plaetton:Africa is poor because of corrupt politicians and military dictators that have ruled the continent since independence. Using Nigeria as an example E.g. Abacha and IBB. The modafuckers that truncated the first Republic included. What has that got to do with a poster on Nairaland who is not even a politician or even the topic..from where do you things crawl out from? |

opamoses1:We can blaming politicians. Who are the politicians? They are us and we are them. It is a corrupt system that produces corrupt and rapacious politicians and elites. Again, it is the poverty of the mind on a national scale that produces and nourishes a corrupt system . |

plaetton: In addition to this, a large portion of the population are actually terribly illiterate and unexposed and thus cannot really make intelligent or well advised choices. This is part of the reason that 9/10ths of political arguments in NL for example are all about ethnic slurs and ethnic chauvinism. 1 Like |

My prayer be say make Air peace no survive the competition.... because the whole Air peace Airline is to undermine other major tribe in Nigeria.... I better go through other Airline and spend days on the road than going through tribally-laced Airline...investment I took Virgin Airline last year and everything I observe concerning the airline depicts and reflect the culture of the western country . The airline is jointly owned....Richard Branson and Delta Airline... Now, if all about Peace Airline is to depicts Ibo culture .. how will a good investors in South west or in the north will want to invest in such business ...when the projection about the business is Ibo -oriented .... And this is the reason , some Nigeria investment cannot be known more than the shore of this country because when all the impression you want to create about your business is the superiority of your culture instead of the Nigeria as a country. ... Can you see how ridiculous this people now look. ? The same tribal group the Ibo people abuse on social media last week ...when the whole thing was inaugurated is now the same tribal group they came to meet after the giant investor in Airbus business want show them shege... From the news received , as normal thing that usually happens with Air peace airline...a passenger complained Last week ....after getting to UK ....the air peace staff have started doing the damage control ... ONYEMNA, EVERYTHING BUSINESS IS NOT About TRIBALISM.... SEPARATE TRIBALISM FROM YOUR BUSINESS AND SEE HOW IT WILL THRIVE ... |
