Why can't trailers and trucks move only at night?

Some of these deaths are avoidable tbh. As for the trucker driver and conductor, you can't run forever.

The truck should be seized, the owner should be traced, captured and jailed for manslaughter.

The reason why safety is treated with kid's gloves is because there are no consequences for recklessness in Nigeria.

People need to start spending time in jails for being stupid and reckless.

If U check very well, all these trucks don't have MOT or Road worthiness.

Very avoidable death if the road safety agencies had the right and required equipments to detect overspeeding from the truck!

The worse part is that even if the safety agencies had detected that the truck was overspeeding,they would still let it go as long as they part with some form of money from the truck driver!

My problem is that when you complain,some benighted folks here will use religion and ethnicity to wave it aside!

Until Nigerians rise in unison and demand from our docile leaders that the right things should be done,we will keep witnessing these ugly incidents in the future!

Almost every week you hear container falling in Lagos. Haba ! Lagos state government is just not doing anything to mitigate the situation. Abi na their sacrifice b dat ? Very very sad indeed.
What do you expect when a population of over 200 million people are depending on one clearing port ? What a shame to Nigeria and the rulers who are always self-centered.

This is what monopoly would ever cause for those politicians who think without Lagos, you can't clear your goods. Other ports in Nigeria are lying useless.
One of the solutions is to decentralized ports in Nigeria.
Very unfortunate.

Why is it a rocket science to have trailers firmly attached to the frame like this, how many people have to die from containers falling on vehicles. Is there something wrong with us that we can't come up with a simple solution to this incessant deaths.

Lagos state government needs to take action over this issue of containers falling off trucks and killing road users,it's now one too many haba mana.

anywhere in Nigeria. U need to be specific. This is like the 4th container death I have heard this month alone and it will keep happening unless the people in charge enforce strict rules on this container drivers.

No harm was intended. I was just being realistic. A great woman gave birth to me, I've got 2 beautiful loving kid sis who are happily married, I've got another amazing beauty for a wife who has given an adorable princess for a daughter. I've got nothing against women but, the truth must be said. It's the reason I had to enroll my four years old little princess in a Marshal arts class to toughen and strengthen her kinetic dexterity. I wouldn't want her to be too vulnerable and physically weak.
