Except You have been in coma or just recently arrived on Earth, you must have heard about Artificial Intelligence and its Pros and Cons, with all the hype around the technology, one thing is certain, it will cause lots of disruptions to life as we know it, for better or worse ..
When you combine advancement in Chip technology,Quantum Computing, 5G and Artificial Intelligence....it is plausible that in the coming decades, Artificial Intelligence will get better to the point where it takes away lots of jobs done by humans...
If a company needs to hire 100 people, they may cut back hiring in half of less and combine humans with AI robotics...
This willa lead to job cuts across the globe, how do you think this should be handled when the time comes..
The idea Of Universal Basic income comes to mind, this means that people just get fixed income from the government, will it make things better? Do u have any better proposal as to steps that should be taken when this period eventually kicks in?

Below is a report from NBC, a restaurant utilizing AI robotics, there are still humans working in the background but the AI has reduced the amount of people that normally would work in the restaurant

Hurry up and get rich because AI is coming and that means you will be replaced in your job and be told what you can and cannot do by a government that hasn't got your best interest at heart

I understand your point, but not everyone will make loads of money and sustain it, we must plan very well for the future ...

The ones that refused to get rich will be the ones who would be weeded out by AI and elite. So do your best to enter that 10 percent that would remain in existence after AI has taken over

Yes for sure, but at what cost?
For example, California has a new law which increases minimum wage for some restaurant chains, some of them are shutting down or relocating, imagine this scenario in 20 years from now, these restaurants will simply buy more robots, lay of some workers amd and save cost on the long run ...by then these AI robots will be cheaper and more efficient

Very True...
A world of Universal Basic Income, how then can humans be productive, if we all get paid by government, we may see a shift towards Communism

Thats why i highlighted 5G in the post, advances in connectivity will continue, even satellite transmission of Internet services may increase and become cheaper...
And for the most part, all urban areas in Africa has connectivity to the Internet, so in the near future AI will also affect the economies of African countries....
This shows that on the long run, we may not depend on industrialization to create jobs, and provide income to the people, something else may substitute, UBI?

Communism? This could be a possibility, if majority of the people are not working , then the government may step in to control some sectors of the economy to ensure there's enough for everyone, like Agricultural sector ..
This is very possible...hmmmmm

That's the point you are panicking for no reason, this won't happen in your generation and most likely your grandchildrens', all you can do is take advantage of AI and earn something for yourself, this panicking and doomsday prediction won't do you any good.

It is important to have a long term view of important things, and also an opinion, while there's no immediate threat, things can change overnight, you must think about these things as it relates the future, have an opinion and spread your opinion, thats how society develops and grows, your opinion enlightens others and the cycle of knowledge continues....

You are not having the firsthand impact of what AI is capable of and all of a sudden you think you have an opinion worthy of discussion? Yeah right.
