Not all the drones and cruise missiles were intercepted. Just one missile alone fired from inside Iran that eventually successfully landed in Isreal is an act of war.
One more thing, it's very expensive to intercept those drones and missiles. Such costs became a serious problem when tax payers in UK discovered that the UK spent about $1m to intercept an Iran-made drone that costs far less fired by the Houthis. It was after the uproar that the UK went low key in the war against the Houthi.
The cost is always very huge on the part of the US and Israel. Iran manufactures cheap and potent technological weapons and the west doesn't have that comparative advantage. Israel already declared war by attacking the Iranian consulate. 1 Like |
