Nothing to write home about my beloved state . Obaseki's second tenure is nothing short of disappointments. Unemployment and crime rate is on the increase, no infrastructure, no development. All he does is talk and talk with no positive results.

And now,he wants to impose his candidate on us. He will be disgraced same way oshiomhole was disgraced.

This is not the right way to go about disagreement.

You can disagree with your boss.

But it should have limit.

You should not keep fighting blindly when you know you can not bend your boss.

The impeachment of the former Edo deputy governor is only just a first step in scuttling his gubernatorial ambitions,by his political foes.
Now they have successfully booted him out,they will now begin to mount a serious smear campaign against him,based on the allegations of revealing state secrets,to totally wipe out his credibility and eligibility as a potential governor.

Shaibu should also be made to explain where he got the funds he used to buy almost all the filling stations in Benin. A man who has never worked before apart from politics.

He was a good governor… he did well for the Edos, but he tried to become Tinubu of Edo state. Oshmhiole becoming a senator is as a result of the goodwill he perform especially for Edo north and it ends there. If he was so relevant, he would have be able to install his own candidate as APC governorship candidate in Edo state… he wanted to play the Tinubu role in Edo state by installing his own stooges the way Tinubu do am for Yoruba land. But he failed, he is not that so relevant. LOL

He is only relevant to his party, not to the people of Edo state as much as you think. Been a senator by a former governor na normal thing for naija. He did well for his people as a governor to earn the senatorship and it ends there oga.

Oshiomhole is relevant to his own people in Edo north and party. That is all, not entire Edo state. Same Oshomhole that was bullied by Market women when he was out to campaign for his governorship candidate in the last election? Abi na another Oshomhole. Lol

I think being godfather and being relevant are not the same thing. You don't have to be a godfather to be relevant. How many people are able to successfully do what Tinubu has done over and over in Lagos? Even in the other SW states only Tinubu has done it. Truth is that Tinubu is an extraordinarily gifted politician. He has no equal anywhere in the country and it not because he is corrupt but because he is naturally gifted and hence command respect. Sustainable true leadership is not bought but earned.

He enjoyed the privilege as a deputy governor but anymore, moreover they didn't enter into his compound to destroy anything. So look at what you wrote and ask yourself the same question. Because it seems like being foolish is your birth right.
