Nigerians will not cease to amaze me. While I was campaigning I told you I'm on a Renewed Hope mandate. I even mentioned that I will reduce your purchasing power and increase taxes. Thus far I have been making promises to you every now and then to renew your hope. I have removed fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, Forex subsidy, we are currently working to remove subsidy on tertiary education. Once we are done with subsidy removal, I will increase the taxes.
