You guys should chill.

We we get it right.

There are many projects ongoing.

There is a smart school project ongoing in almost all communities.

Enugu water project is still ongoing

International conference centre is being completed

New Enugu City is coming up.

Keep faith with Peter Mbah

You sound apologetic, which has no place in people business and in leadership. It's either you say things you have the intention and capacity to deliver, or go home. Your excuse as to why the much touted six months water is currently not with Enugu people is unacceptable, therefore makes this governor a failure as it stands.

A man's reputation is tied to the words he speaks, and obviously the words of this governor cannot be trusted no matter who he chooses to blame.

He knew that Enugu's need for water is second only to the air its people breathe. He had brought in a white man to deceive and appear competent. He is the governor now, but where is the water he promised?.

Stories are not going to cut it. We heard enough from Louis Amoke.

Hope you saw the news headlines that njeze former ambassador and minister of federal republic of Nigeria is now APC member, even Chukwuka Utazi former senator, these guys are seeing something others are not seeing bro, 2027 is not far anymore, let wait and watch.
Well it will depend on Tinubu's performance, if not those feather weight politicians you listed can not give APC total of 30k votes in Enugu state or is it not the APC that once had people like Sullivan Chime, Jim nwobodo, Ayogu Eze and so on but still couldn't win a ward ? Mba will lose if he decamps to APC

What's the electoral value of these guys you mentioned? They're expired politicians. Utazi achieved nothing after 8good years in the red🔴 chamber representing Enugu North. He does not command any following. APC made so much noise in Anambra during their gubernatorial election even with the defection of the then incumbent deputy governor, Nkem Okeke. They failed. APC is not going anywhere in Enugu. Maybe APGA OR LABOUR PARTY.
Among all the states in Nigeria, APC is weakest in enugu

Calm down, Enugu Politicians see APC the way Premier league players see Saudi Arabian league.

None of them going to APC is serious. They just want appointments, easy access to the centre and protection from EFCC harassment.

Tinubu will reach agreement with PDP governors in 2027. The pdp governors will ensure PDP does not produce a strong candidate while the president will guarantee their return.

There is no way Mbah would have known that the 6 months is not feasible. He only relied on an expert advice which unfortunately was wrong.

What I can guarantee you is that Water is on top of the list for Mbah and we will get this done.

Yeah, it will take time but it will be done and the solution is one that will last for at least 50 years

It's very sad that Enugu transitioned from the populist pork barrel of Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to a regime that is clearly lost on the issues confronting the governed or is bereft of ideas on how to tackle them. I previously based my criticism of the government of Peter Mba on his total neglect of my own hometown on all fronts but extortionate taxation, but after watching Mba himself list the Navy's project in Ụzọ Uwanị and the Army's mini barrack in Eha Amufu as achievements of his administration, I realised nothing is actually happening in the entire length and breadth of our dear state.
The dearth of pictures/activities in this thread is not accidental. Nothing is happening in Enugu State. Statistics keep coming out every day, and they all affirm that Enugu is in a very disastrous, downward trajectory. The next election is still very far, so we can't really hope on that to correct the mistake of last year's electoral heist because the damage just might be too much. Peter Mba must deliver on his promises to Ndị Enugu, or we drag him till his office becomes too stuffy for his blue suits.

Simply because gburugburu bought all of them and make them to work for him, it will interest you to know that all the people you listed now are under suspension now in APC, put Peter MBA can't do same because he's anti-social, uncharismatic governor and still very stingy even to his party members.

Millitary bases attract development around where they're located sha. that and security. Nigerian soldiers too poor sha so might not apply to Nigeria
Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Ezewuzie01: 9:21am On Apr 21
Lack of water has really damaged Enugu's image as a city. People now see it as a glorified village. Mbah has not done enough to change the situation. Water trucks can be seen everywhere selling without any price control from the government. It is shameful that Mbah has abdicated his responsibilities.

A market is not development, well, not just a market. I mean schools, hospitals, bars, hotels, access roads, convenience stores, filling stations, industries, and yes, markets. A lot of things open in other to cater to soldiers. There's also the added benefit of improved security.

But again, as Nigerian soldiers are usually underpaid I don't know how much development a small barracks will attract, if you discount amenities provided by the government

Exactly!!! Also Mbah won't need to decamp to APC.

Mbah will be among the Opposition Governors who'll openly declare their support for BAT in 2027 in exchange, Mbah will win his 2027 re eclection bid easily.

How many of you here remember how almost all the political parties adopted Late Sani Abacha as their presidential candidate in 1998, history may repeat itself in 2027.

I believe that 9th mile area has a lot of potential as Enugu's industrial powerhouse, especially with the free trade zone there. How did Gburus stay 8 years without attracting any significant investment to that free trade zone, a free trade zone Sullivan fought so hard to get.

Is this current government doing anything to harness the potential of that place? I think I've heard Mbah make allusions to maximizing the potential of that area but I've seen nothing tangible.

Also, all the contractors being used for projects in this state needs to be ashamed of themselves if they're getting paid. Such sluggish work, why are they so slow? I don't really understand the logistics of construction but the contractors in Abia work much much faster for Otti.

It all boils down to the government, leave the contractors alone.

Ugwuanyi with all his shortcomings never slept on a project, he starts and completes without wasting time,
Milliken hill didn't take him up to a year, penoks to T junction less than a year,
T junction flyover was completed within a year.

All the short short streets Mba started at Abakpa are all abandoned, do you think if the contractors were paid and ordered to complete the work within shortest time possible that they won't ?

1 year is too much time for a lot of these projects is my point. Peter Mbah started construction in October, many of those are less than 2km, why are they taking up to a year?

I presume he only mobilized the contractors to site and forgot to make complete payment which will encourage them to work.
