All these courts in Nigeria granting the wishes of alleged criminal politicians are the one encouraging corruption in high places. I remembered the case of Peter Odili who had perpetual injunction against trial thereby setting a precedent Nigeria is witnessing today. |

Everything has its time. Now its Yahaya Bello's time, let him go & answer. Tomorrow it will be the others. When Bob Risky was arrested na so we hear all sorts, nobody knew Cubana Chief Priest was next. The resources at EFCCs disposal are not infinite, they cant arrest every suspect at once or thesame time even the almighty FBI & CIA or KGB cannot. Its a process. Others have gone, many others will go, Yahaya go and clear your name like others have. A clean man does not need court Injunctions nor hide from the law, Lions dont hide. |

Akwamkpuruamu:Bros have you forgotten that Yari have been arrested by Efcc many times. And detained. So Bello should answer a call why his court restraining him from trial works for him. |

…the Nigerian legal system and these judges are the reasons this country will keep nosediving. Because how do you explain that these politicians will comb Billions of naira into their personal pockets and run to get a restraining order. What it means therefore, is that u can steal any amount u want. At the end of your tenure u just rush and get a restraining order. A case study is in Rivers state, where a Court has given an order barring EFCC from investigating the state Govt and the Governors. What an error? Can the court not turn down these politicians when they come to get these restraining orders? Believe me, if we must make things work in this country, all of these stupid restraining orders shouldnt be obeyed. Joke of a nation. |

Chikel20000: It is what it is. The aim of the topic is to question why a Hausa man Mattawale, Yari is yet to be arrested by a Yoruba man led EFCC. Stop deceiving your self. |

greenermodels: Bello and his laughable attempts to whip up sentiments and stupid arguments in his favour. They caught a thief at the market square and he is asking why they have left other thieves? The real question is whether you are a thief or not But we already know the answer from your gestures. It is only on Judgement Day that all sinners get sentenced on the same day. As long as we live on earth, it is one by one that thieves will get punished. Stop wasting your time on a weak and stupid defence. We have no sympathy for a thief as long as he is not innocent or a case of mistaken identity!!! To even humour you a little, why was Bello not paying Kogi State civil servants full salaries when he was collecting full allocations and other Governors were paying full salaries? I bet he didn't want comparisons then but he wants comparisons now. |

Babinski:There's no justification for EFCC's actions, they're perpetuating a witch-hunt, I'm not defending Bello, he's a horrible thief and murderer without an iota of conscience. |
Re: Why Has EFCC Not Arrested Yari, Mattawale Despite Similar Court Order As Bello? by Babinski: 1:12pm On Apr 22 |
greenermodels: It is not a witch-hunt when the person being targeted has actually done something wrong. A criminal cannot cry "witch-hunt" because he is not innocent. See Collins Dictionary: A witch-hunt is an attempt to find and punish a particular group of people who are being blamed for something, often simply because of their opinions and not because they have actually done anything wrong. |
