Martinelli with a good chance but a good save I believe or did it hit the post?

2-0

Wonderful counter attack. Big credit to Gabu/ Odegaard who scored from a tight angle.

Bench cam proves that Stuiverberg na the glue of the trio. Cuesta definitely is the one with crazy ideas. Guy said something to two of them and two of them face am wan beat am😂😂😂😂

Harsh reality

Martinelli and Saka are 😥😥😥😥😥
I love how Trossard is the one with tight spaces goals lately. Used to be Jesus thing until showboating took over. That Rice Run towards the win and the eventual cross that nobody followed🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

Kai was totally exhausted.

Omorr... Fatigue have set in. These guys looks tired, thank goodness we're out of championship league. Truth be told, we the way Arteta is managing this squad, we can't compete 3ce a week games
And the end of the match, almost all the players are breathings heavily, our press aren't sharp and effective as before.

Anyways, 3pts and clean sheets.

I just hope they'll recover in time for Chelsea and then Tottenham.

But then, What's wrong with Saka. It's as if he's carrying an injury or something. He don't even attempt to make a dribble this match and even when Odegaard and Jesus are pressing, he seemed laid back and doesn't join in the press(esp in the first half). It's as if they know he's going through something cos even Odegaard doesn't seem urge him to join in the press sef unlike normal Odegaard that will direct before he initiates the press.

Fingers crossed for Chelsea match tho.

Missed the discussion and debates that happened earlier this week. Still a very very very busy week for me.

Hopefully Arsenal doesn't disappoint in their next two matches

Before that Porto game, commentator gave hint about the injury. Also remember the game he was subbed off and he looked like he wan cry? Many speculations on which kind of injury. But ankle/calf related it seems. MA of all people should know getting a replacement is a top priority henceforth. See his numbers with this problem. How much more if he was fullllllyyy fit. Who be Cold Palmer sef? Na Frozen Saka we for get. The North Wall GOT kind.

For 3-4 consecutive years on this thread, we ask this same question about Saka’s form around December and the end of the season. It should be obvious after this long that we know the guy is burned out and has nothing left in the tank.

Apart from the burnout, he has been playing with a muscle injury since Feb I think but they have been trying to manage it.

Kid has nothing left in the tank and that is the truth. He has stopped trying hard because physically he can’t. His legs can’t even cross balls anymore.

You can keep switching goalpost.

Bottom line remains no serious club will allow Mikel spend a day more after that first season.. only Arsenal tolerates mediocrity.
So Chelsea keeping a coach that has done nothing but keep them alternating between 11th and 10th posituon all season is not mediocrity Abi ? grin

U see u can't even provide a reasonable answer to why Pochettihnho still has a job despite claiming Bohely would've sacked Arteta .

Santi Cazorla on Arteta: “Injured, watching games together, he would get the remote & pause it. ‘What are you doing?’. He would say, ‘Go back, go back’, rewind 30 seconds & ask, ‘What do you see?’. ‘I see a paused screen! What do you want me to see?!’”

“He would say, ‘Look at this guy here, how badly he’s positioned. If he goes here & he goes there, this space opens’. Every game, pausing every 20 seconds. The match has finished & we’re still in the 20th minute. I’m thinking, ‘What’s with this guy?’”

“He sees it. I love football but I don’t. I think it’s a gift. He’s pausing. ‘Can’t you see we’re doing this badly? Don’t you think the left-back should be deeper? That he should draw out his marker? Don’t you think we can create a space there?’. I said yes to everything, ‘Yes, you’re completely right Mikel. Now, press play’.”

“I’d say, ‘Mate, you’re a coach already’. He said, ‘Yeah, I see things that make me think I should be’. We talked a lot. He still loved playing, but working with Pep Guardiola at [Man] City was an opportunity, the best apprenticeship. I said, ‘Mikel, if that’s what moves you, go for it.’ It’s worked out well.”

This explains why he really had a good time with Guardiola .

David Raya is one clean sheet away from mathematically securing the golden glove this season.

If we win this title, come next season, I'm expecting his replacement to start the very 1st game of the season. That guy needs overflowing tank. Plus trainer can inject new styles and ideas into his game. Then he will fire above 20goals especially with a 9 closer to him than Odegaard

Anytime I remember there is Euro coming up in the Summer, I cringe. Hopefully Palmer and Foden will reduce his workload. Rice is durable so I'm not worried. Saliba will probably not play much.

Expanding his game is more of a coaching responsibility. Moving him across the front 3 will help him naturally develop a sense of awareness, instincts and decision making with his creativity in dangerous areas of the final 3rd.

Next season, I’d like to see Arteta try Saka in the 10 (CAM/ AM) position, especially in cup completions like EFL. It would require us switching up formation sometimes but I believe it will help expand his game.

So, Saliba's former teammate, Fofana is still in Chelsea. Chai!
I remember Martinelli turning the guy like Amala when we played Leceister last season. Chelsea just pack Yahoo boys fill team.

With Arsenal being linked with Jorel Hato and Willian Pacho, we might part with one of or both Tomiyasu and Zinchenko in the summer. Zinchenko has the bigger chance of staying due to his versatility.

Are we ready for the new UCL format too? I doubt we are part of the "top 8 performers". We'll probably be among the 24playoff teams. Then the new 4 teams.

Saliba go rest well unless emergency. In France, many of their legends are divided about his game. He'll win them over soon. But many detest those silly mistakes. Southgate will just either start Palmer or make his his super sub. It would be a joke to not carry that boy along right now.

They should calm down with the 'silly mistake' excuse. It is all their defenders that make mistake. From Upper Iweka to Kounde...they are all prone to errors. Why must Saliba's be different?

Zinchenko is surely going
Arteta have authorised his sale by not approving his contract renewal

Yea... I just think he would have him around especially with about 3 midfielders likely to leave. That will leave a big void.
