Piles have 4 stages and treatment depends on the specific stage/degree Ist Degree: Only bleeding on defecation; no pain, no protrusion 2nd Degree: Protrusion on defecation, which goes back in on its own +/- bleeding 3rd Degree: Protrusion on defecation, but needs to be pushed in manually +/- bleeding 4th Degree: Protrusion on defecation but remains permanently outside/can't be pushed in |
