Do you think all the LG's in Nigeria pay salaries as they ought to, if states are owing salaries at states level( some for years) and now all local governments monies go to the state, you can imagine what will be happening at the local government levels of some of those states....

You are talking as if you are not living in Nigeria, the salary might not come but they also generate revenue from the local government tax for from the locals....

That's why you see some of them still working even though they have not earned salaries for years....

This is like some police officers who don't really depend on their salaries...
