Spy360:Anybody who followed our argument then knows that his clinicality was because of too much romancing the ball and not been able to score goals even when the chance presented itself. He's always at the end of all our whole chances and I told you that he playing as a false 9 didn't stop him from getting chances to score, yet you claimed otherwise that he needs to play as a natural 9(using mitrovic and other Strikers as example), so that he won't be "tired" when such chance presented itself. How you'll claim a year later that you're a proponent of false 9 while I'm a proponent of natural 9 is befuddling. Anything just to claim W sha, ![]() |

Talking about a 9 that will fit our system, have anyone seen the Victor guy from sporting, like seen him play and not some YouTube videos?. I think Arteta will prefer him over the other names I'm seeing cus of his work rate. |

BlueRayDick:True, that yellow card is a valid point and I think Havertz knew that's why he capitalised on it. I've never seen Havertz carry a ball such great distance with a defender at his back. That reason you gave is very very valid ![]() Omorrrr... The thing pain me as e no reach seven or at least six. The Martinelli missed chances pain me sha. We for don avenge that 6-0 wey dem give us then |

Spy360:Kane is the perfect false 9 striker presently. If you think Kane pro Mourinho is not a False 9, then Tbh maybe you've not been watching him all these while |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 12:04pm On Apr 24, 2024 |
Jodera:First of all, what is a false 9? Let's start from there because it seems you probably are using a wrong term to describe what you want. A false 9 is a midfielder playing upfront. Like Cesc Fabregas for Barcelona those days. Harry Kane for all intent is a striker, a 9 and not a false 9 please. May be you didn't get the definition right which misinformed all of us. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 12:07pm On Apr 24, 2024 |
iamoyindamola:U can't assure me anything, Martinelli came on and was missing goals baba. That's why Arteta is a coach while me and u are not. We would've taken him off instead of having a talk with him to help him help the team which was what Arteta most likely did and it paid off. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 12:14pm On Apr 24, 2024 |
Spy360:Kane is a false 9. I don't blame you cos your football na mostly Livescores ![]() This is Van Persie been branded false 9 as far back as 2009 and even Rvp sef have called himself a False 9 , the last picture.(in this case he called it 9½ ; variant between 9 and 10) Anybody who watches Van Persie during his time knows this. But I guess you're not familiar with the word then. I will always teach you new things but no worries, that's why we're Arsenal brothers ![]()

mostob:Naahh... Look at his eyesight closely and his leg shape and movement, you see his intent of crossing it to Havertz and a second arsenal player who was free and have only the post at their Mercy. He just mishit the cross but luckily it found the back of the net. You could see the quick disappointment first on his face before a happy shock when it landed on the net ![]() |

Spy360:A false 9 doesn't necessarily mean a midfielder playing as striker, that's where you're getting things wrong. Jesus wey you dey call false 9 no be striker? A false 9 is more of a role than a position or Identity. |

. I never thought of Havertz as strong as that while under pressure. It is one thing for Odegaard to have measured the through pass correctly and it is an entirely different thing for Havertz to have held his own and not buckle under pressure while keeping his sight on goal. Everything about that goal was just so sweet.
