they should stop using our reserve to stabilizer Naira.

this problem can be solved within 2 years if we pay attention to agriculture.

The government should disburse grants to farmers nationwide and setup committee to monitor the grant beneficiaries.

by next harvest, food will be plentiful and their will be food surplus.

So how does the food surplus affect the naira-dollar dichotomy. Nigeria is an import driven economy, what do we export to bring capital inflow of dollars into the economy. We import almost everything even toothpick.

It seems all the stories of carnage being visited on farmers by Fulani herdsmen and their variants from Benue to Maiduguri to Zamfara to Oyo are all lost on you

Can you guarantee that the weather/climate will allow a bountiful harvest? Some parameters are beyond prediction. We can only try.

They tricked Nigerians
Pumped in dollars
Gullible people sold their stock
Political thieves changed those naira we were told they had in warehouses to dollars. Now they’re letting it go without much support. They burnt 1bn dollars in 30 days

Which countries have 2 currencies of different colors operating at the same time without phasing one out?

Tinubu and his boys are a scam. There may be a lot of activity but no progress. Na retrogression

This is the problem... Our exchange rate is too volatile... Can't we just maintain a particular amount for at least six months? Even if it's N1300? At least we know that's the amount come rain come shine. Any change should be N1 to N10 going upwards or downwards

How do we explain naira gaining and foreign reserves depleting. Day don dey break small small, when you build a house with saliva na dew will collapse such a house.
It's a matter of time,I wish Nigeria well though but not all this magomago way of making things work.
Controlling dependency on foreign currency from face value won't work when the real sector still suffered.

Tinubu started it, The politicians are already stock pilling Dollar for 2027. The all have to prepare ahead, Just like Tinubu. So, as long as the people around Tinubu are Power mongers nothing will ever work

No amount of CBN intervention can save the naira from market forces. The demand for the dollar will always be higher than the supply until we as a country can earn enough dollars

Farmers can't access their farms, those that have access can't reap without paying ransom to Fulani's and you here talking about grants. Think

Well... My APC friend told me the Naira will appreciate to #800/Dollar by June.

It's not yet June, so I won't say anything. tongue

Let me just assume or believe this is mere media "speculation" from the "enemies" of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, if a person purchased or exchanged his millions of Naira 2 weeks ago (at 1090/$), how much would his money have appreciated today?!!! lipsrsealed

The way they grabbed the votes, snatched it, and ran away with it...that was how they scammed Nigerians and told them to sell their dollars and FX investments now they have also snatched it and ran away with it. 😁😁

Nigeria has gone beyond repairs bro. The same committee that's meant to monitor will connive with those that should carry out the disbursement to look away the funds.

And NOTHING GO HAPPEN.

I think the way forward in this country is to earn in dollars .

The country has failed. Cos what's the need for wasting 2billi from the FX reserve only for us to come back to this. So all those people that said we should keep our dollars close to our chest were Right all this while. Hmm
