Once again, The Question of: “How many Brand New Schools did Governor @jidesanwoolu build in just his first term in Office” was asked by Pressmen today during the Ministry of Education’s One year in office briefing.

The Chairman, Lagos State Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools @lagosscrps, Mr Hakeem Smith responded to the question:

Governor @jidesanwoolu commissioned the Brand New Elemoro Community Junior Secondary School, Ibeju Lekki (14-12-2021)

Governor @jidesanwoolu commissioned the Brand New Vetland Junior school, Agege LGA (29-06-2022)

Governor @jidesanwoolu commissioned the Brand New Oke-Odo Junior High School with a Multi-Purpose Court at Coates Street, Ebute Metta (26-05-2023)

Musade Odugate Government Junior High School, a new Brand New School established for Ori Okuta community, Ikorodu (Not officially commissioned but now in use)

Other Brand New Ones already Ongoing in Otumara (Ebute Metta), Elemoro Senior (Ibeju Lekki) and Egbin (Ikorodu).

UPDATE: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu today commissioned the Brand New Vetland Junior school, a public School, Agege LGA. A Modular School initiative, which creates technology-enabled schools using container structures with Modern Facilities.

Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday inaugurated Elemoro Community Junior Secondary School in the Ibeju Lekki area of the state.

The 18-classroom block school include a college-size football pitch and other recreational facilities.

This was contained in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile.

During the inauguating ceremony, Sanwo-Olu praised the town’s traditional ruler, Oba Tajudeen Elemoro, for freely donating the land on which the education projects were built.

Sanwo-Olu said, “This newly constructed educational facility is a project that is dear to my heart and has made me extremely pleased, because it is a fulfilment of my promise to provide the Okeodo-Elemoro-Iwerekun community with a secondary school. What is more pleasing to me today is that, with the commissioning of this school, many children in this localty will now have access to quality secondary education.

Education is top notch in Anambra state.

Anambra always beats Lagos in national rankings.

In fact if it's calculated based on state of origin, Lagos will drop so bad down the rankings.
