In short more loans

They’ll steal them, stash them abroad and print more naira to cover it. More inflation go follow

Future generations go pay loan wey them no benefit. They’ll divert it to coastal road wey people no dey use and Tinubu and chagoury go benefit

Hehehe! Audio investment! So all the claim of attracting DFI still remains a monumental scam. They want to use gbajue means to collect abroad people dollars.

No sane person would now want to invest his hard earned dollar into an economy that is being mismanaged by fraudulent people in an accidental government.

the truth of the matter is that even if people in the diaspora do not buy into the funds, hedge funds , family offices will buy it.

When making money, there is no idealism, it is strictly business, you have to be pragmatic if you wanna make cash.

people in charge of the funds are taking their own money they have stolen to London and Dubai to buy real estate but telling the middle class to send their coins the other way where it can be used to support pilgrimage and political patronage generally. Any stable human should hate that.

I am in the diaspora and would not invest more than $20 in the country. Fraudsters, Genocide enablers, one chance snake oil salespeople, hypocrites, religious zealots, and that is just the government ministers.

My guy here, Femi, his parents retired two years ago. They have land in Ogun but decided to buy a place in the Algarve. They said peace of mind is priceless and will do their retirement there.

Mr Racoon, not everyone is a supporter of Tinubu or Apc, you don’t even need to like him in anyway. That’s absolutely fine and okay.
But at least, love your country and look forward to its progress, we know the leaders have failed and lied and disappointed. But it’s not everything you take with negativity. Don’t let them make you that way, it’s your country bro.
While some people are reading this and thinking investment wise, the first thing a smart person should do is read and think if it’s make sense and how he can take advantage of it. That’s wisdom
You are right Bro. Even though am Obedient bur I should show some kind of confidence and true nationality

It's not about diaspora fund. Money can be borrowed from anywhere. The fact that the money came from Nigerians in diaspora doesn't mean it's any better than if it were to be from Eurobond issuance. It's still a debt.

The issue is what projects will it be spent on? That needs to be known upfront and the cost associated with each project clearly specified

People just wake up and criticize their country mindlessly just because their candidate or kinsman lost an election.
How is this different from any Eurobond? And since it's existence, have you ever heard that Nigeria defaulted on its obligations?
I desire quality opposition not all these censorious Dundeez!
