The After-Effects Of Reno Omokri’s “One-School” Challenge by BluntCrazeMan: 11:26am On Apr 29
After Reno Omokri challenged Peter-Obi and the Obidients to show ONE-SCHOOL which Peter-Obi built and commissioned,, people showed him lots of schools which Peter-Obi built, but he changed his stance and said that he meant any school which Peter-Obi’s Government Initiated, Built, and handed over..

So, he made himself very clear by saying that Peter-Obi built many schools from scratch to finish, and even upgraded lots of schools, but ALL these schools were not INITIATED by his government.

People blasted him for even supporting wastefulness..
Why would he be supporting the establishment of new schools whereas the existing ones are still in ruins..

This gave rise to #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries challenge.
Lots of photos of the dilapidated public schools in Lagos with pupils and students currently studying inside them in their sorry-state started pouring out online.

This led some people to angrily request to also see the photos of the public schools in Anambra.

And boomm.!!
Pictures of well-maintained schools flooded the internet again..

Reno Omokri became duly silenced..
He never expected his dumb challenge to turn into something else that would work against him.

The challenge was simple, Obidients should name the schools Peter Obi built from scratch and completed which they couldn't produce.

When Peter Obi was interviewed, he confirmed that he never built any schools from scratch as there are so many abandoned schools need to be rehabilitated.

Btw, so Reno's challenge could make Obi to grant interviews ?

Reno don dey dey bigger than Peter Obi be that oo

So what exactly is this thread about if Reno's challenge already ended with the clarification from Peter Obi himself.

The gutter you guys want to open about one school challenge would eventually backfire.

There are no PRIVATE missionary schools in Anambra.

All the MISSIONARY SCHOOLS in Anambra (except the seminaries) are all public schools in a PPP partnership agreement with the Anambra State Government.

This is another Obidient (thatnaijaguy) on social media trying to pass off another private catholic school as public.
Until Michael chibuzor busted his lies.

Dear @IamThatNaijaGuy

I can only conclude that you were born on the day lies were created otherwise you wouldn't have resorted to this brazen lie just to force people to accept that Peter Obi built new schools in Anambra State. Peter Obi himself has responded to @renoomokri and confirmed that he didn't build any new school.

This school you showed is the Regina Pacis Model Secondary School in Onitsha. It is a missionary school for girls only, owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha with Most Revd. Valerian Okeke (Metropolitan Archbishop of Onitsha) serving as the Proprietor.

Contrary to what you want people to believe, Regina Pacis was established in 1986 by the Christian Welfare Association of Onitsha Archdiocese.

Peter Obi did not build the school not to talk of commissioning it. In fact as far back as 2011, the school fees per term in this school is over N100,000. This was just a year into Obi's second term. So, Regina Pacis is not an ordinary school. If Obi donated his usual N1 million to the school, how does that translate to building the school?

The Catholic Church is known for establishing good schools and managing them well. Their sources of funding always range from high school fees they charge, donations from church members, funding from the education directorate of the various dioceses, alumni, and once in a blue moon government donation.

So, don't give glory to Peter Obi over what he did not dream of doing. The last thing Peter Obi would do is to build this type of model school from scratch. The highest thing Obi did for mission schools was officially handing the school over to the church (an Ngige plan by the way). Mind you, even before then it's not all mission schools that were under government management such as Bishop Crowther in Awka.

He then donated an 18-seater bus and a couple of computers from HP to the school. One of the things you'll never see Obi do is spending money to landscape a school with gardens, trees etc. He is a minimalist.

Meanwhile ndi Anambra most times do not wait for government to do stuffs for them especially when it comes to education. PTA levies are used by many public schools to build classroom blocks, school halls, staff room, employ additional teachers, etc. Even alumni of schools chip in with one project or the other occasionally.

So, in Anambra State you'll see great schools that have been thriving in spite of inadequate government support. It is criminal for one former governor to lay claim to transforming education in Anambra State. If you must lie, lie with the fear of God.

Credits to chibuzor for debunking all the lies.
Dear @IamThatNaijaGuy

It now appears you're bent on propagating false legacies of Mr. Peter Obi in education when he was Anambra State Governor.

None of these schools were built by Obi. These are mostly mission schools, in fact one was built after Obi left office. I want to briefly describe the true status of each of the schools you're trying to pass off as Obi's achievement.

FIRST PICTURE GRID:

1st pictured School is Loretto Special Science School, Adazi Nnukwu is owned by the Catholic Church and was established in 1986. It has always been a center of academic excellence in Anambra State.

2nd Pictured school is St. John of God secondary school, Awka. It is an all-girls school established in 1964 by the Catholic Church. It has always been one of the best schools in Awka alongside my alma mater Igwebuike Grammar School and Amaenyi Girls in addition to GTC Awka before it was converted to FSTC, Awka. Obi did not build it nor make it what it is today in terms of excellence.

3rd pictured school is Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji is an all-girls school near Onitsha. It was established in 1962 and owned by the Catholic Church. Peter Obi did not build the school.

4th pictured school is St. Monica's College, Ogbunike established in 1892 by the CMS (Anglican Church). It is also an all-girls school. Not owned by the government.

SECOND PICTURE GRID:

1st pictured school is the Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha. It was established in 1925 by the CMS. It has ALWAYS been one of the best schools in Anambra State alongside CKC. Peter Obi did not build it.

2nd pictured school is still the same Mater Amabilis Secondary school, Umuoji captured in your first photo grid.

3rd pictured school is Peter Obi’s alma mater, Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha. CKC has always been one of the prestigious school in Anambra State in terms of academic excellence. It was established in 1933 by the Catholic Church. Peter Obi did not transform it.

4th pictured school is the St. Patrick's College Awka, which was founded in 2015 by Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese. It has ALWAYS BEEN a private school and was established long after Peter Obi left office.

THIRD PICTURE GRID:

1st pictured school is MY ALMA MATER, Igwebuike Grammar School. It was established in 1958 and has remained a government-controlled school. My school is one of the better government secondary schools in Awka and Anambra State in terms of quality but in terms of beauty, we can't compete with many Catholic or even Anglican schools. This gate of my school was built by the IGS Old Boys in 2018 (4 years after Obi left), we also renovated some classroom blocks, hall and recently completed a mini stadium for the school. Peter Obi did not transform my school!

2nd pictured school is St. Charles College, Onitsha established in 1928
initially as teacher training college and later became a Special Science School. It has always been a top quality school. Peter Obi did not transform it.

3rd pictured school is Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Adazi Nnukwu. It was built by indigenes of the community in 1959 and named after Rev. Fr. Albert Bubendorff. They handed it over to the Catholic missionaries for management. Peter Obi did not transform the school, he only handed the school over back to the Catholic Church on 15th March, 2013 (a year to the end of his 2nd term).

I can't place the name of the 4th pictured school but I'm very certain it is not a govt-controlled school. You can see the sisters in the picture.

CONCLUSION
I understand you're trying to get engagement by posting false information so as to elicit engagement. As Onye Anambra that knows most of these schools and their conditions over the years, I cannot in good conscience allow you to spew falsehoods unchallenged like you guys are doing with #TinubuLagosHospitalSeries.
