There's nothing like branches of Christianity, all we have is Church of God (emphasies on the church not churches). As we're been told every sunday, we're the church not the buiding. What I know is that no matter the way your congregation is holding their service (catholic, presbyterian, pentecostal etc) just make sure it's according to what Jesus preached and follows the template laid down by the early church/the apostles.

They never agreed on anything that's why they keep holding ecumenical councils..
The orthodox Catholic don't have the Filoque (and the son) in their creed. The Catholics do

The third one lead by Martin Luther are the Protestants....they broke out after Luther left the Catholic Church over some agreement(though he regretted later).

It's pretty much fighting and arguing...all through the century. But the Jewish Torah has remain the same since it was published my Ezra
