Them no go hear, but their investment go hear am! If you have properties or sellable investment in Lagos, kindly walk up to a bank, take a short term loan, equivalent or 80% of the investment worth, using your property as collateral. Kindly default and allow the bank take the property!

Divest from Lagos. Locate any town or village with access to sea outlet and buy properties. One day, infrastructures go reach there and the Lagos property market will go bust!

First is Lagos calabar road, the next is don't invest in Lagos all because a Yoruba man outclass the dullard they presented despite the intelligentsia in southeast

So we go elect this one husband too, a bigot can't be Nigeria first lady

Maryanne Moghalu, the wife of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor and ex-presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu, has sparked a social media storm with her recent social media post cautioning against investing in Lagos.

In the wake of the contentious dispute between Landmark, a prominent real estate developer, and the Federal Government, Maryanne Moghalu took to Social media to share her advice. Her post, which has since garnered over 200,000 views, serves as a warning to potential investors regarding the current climate in Lagos.

It's worth noting that Kingsley Moghalu was the presidential candidate for the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the country's general election in February 2019.

The controversy surrounding Landmark and the Federal Government has raised concerns about the stability of investment opportunities in Lagos. Maryanne Moghalu's post adds to the ongoing dialogue about the implications of such disputes on the business environment in Nigeria's commercial capital.

Watch slaves and dogs argue under this post.... Useless and shameless lot.

This thread, and the self-derisory talk from a clearly unintelligent rabble-rousing woman, is just a joke.

Abeg who remembers the thread below from 2015? Then the talk and plan was for Igbos to leave Lagos by 2020.

We are in May 2024 today. Almost 10 years after. Yet zilch. Nada. Big zero.Igbos have no shame at all.

This is why they have no credibility today and even ethnic group consisting of 200k folks dey slap them gbas gbos up and down.

Igbos should take their investment home

The governors need to take the initiative by building roads, getting fire service to work, upgrade markets, assist local police to check crime.

Abia is getting it. Anambra is also on track.

Imo need to change leadership for true development

I vividly remember when a friend was counselled against investing heavily in Jos years ago.

He stubbornly went ahead... the business boomed for a few years, then came the now infamous Jos crisis.

He lost everything!

He hasn't recovered since, even after several years.

Even though none of Landmark even centre building was demolished, you people are still hellbent on spreading propaganda about Lagos state and the FG.

You invest in Lagos or not, the state will still be marching on.

After 2023 General election, Lagos state was exposed.

Investing in Lagos real estate is now a very high risk investment that should be left to the Yorubas only.

There is a time for everything. A time to give birth and a time to die. The time to divest from Lagos has come.

The time to slow down on investing in real estate in Lagos for none Yorubas has come.

Lagos belong to Yorubas, it is high time to divest gradually and allow Yorubas take hold of their Lagos.

I have been sounding this warning.

The earlier people listen to this the better for them anyway
Yoruba people can go and invest in igboland or other parts of Nigeria.
The only big thing about lagos is the sea port. Once that is sorted, we will see how mega lagos is.
State that controls billions and yet doesn't look like it.

Shouldn't SE be developed too, and become a place where all Nigerian will want to go and start a family for her economic opportunities.

Why do you feel its a punishment when they ask you to look home?

Why do you think you're hurting us if the number of people that sell Ghala and lacassera and those that sell dvd and phone accessories (using wheelbarrow) on our streets are reduced?

When we ask you not to encourage terrorism and thuggery in your region so that your region can be viable place for business and people inflow, you called us name, you also tag your people who did not agree with your idea saboteurs and get them murdered.

Even this woman cannot travel home for the fear she can get killed.

Business issues like this are not solved by rantings, the owner of landmark has continually been trying to use public opinion to solve this problem and it hasn't worked. He needs to get his powerful friends to help him get an audience with Mr president when ever he is in Lagos, invite him to landmark beach, show him around and get the staff to meet him, after which pitch the alternative route to him. There is a reason why dangote, Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu etc always get their way, its the relationships they build.
