Dennisochampa: Basic defence doctrine - you fight what is in front of you. We are not likely to fight any of the major powers or their proxies. We have air dominance in West Africa - this is sufficient. We have the J10, the F7 and are expecting the M24. We have ISR eyes in the sky, seaward and desert facing radar capabilities. We can do better but we are much stronger than countries outside of Egypt, Algeria and South Africa. Non of whom is in our territorial axis. The only thing we require are more land to air missile systems. Otan. 1 Like |

Re: Chengdu F-7NI: Nigeria's Fastest Fighter Jet by Sibetolo: 7:28am On May 02 |
We have not come close to conventional war with Niger in the recent times Besides, our immediate threats DO NOT warrant acquisition of the fighters in the range of the mentioned F16. We are not a world power in our capacity economy, sociology and ideology. Bragging right shouldnot be a reason to acquiring operational level military hardwares. marched with Dennisochampa: |
