Its better you stop going to church if you do.
Cos its a total waste of time.
You are full of hate and of the devil.
MsAllison:
shatap stop talking nonsense
Tinubu is a criminal

you're only using to chase clout

You are so wise, I hope your life is in order?

Kepukepu:
Bros, you are lookin for excuses.

Those roads lack maintenance. You and I know this. It's common sense, any dual highway will be designed for heavy duty, even a 3 years old knows this. But if you don't maintain it, it wll collapse.

What a sane broke country would have done is to rehabilitated those roads instead building another.

The decision is stupid, foolish and it's not in the onterest of the people. It's tantamount to building a new toilet because of your bad habit of not flushing toilet. You will still mess the other toilet up if you don't change your ways.

Just start flushing toilet and you have fixed the issue.

They prefer to be asking Exxon Mobil, Shell etc. to move their Headquarters to Akwa Ibom, Delta and likes instead of having a super coastal highway that will link major cities in the South in space of 4 - 6hrs. My own joy is that it will decongest Lagos and boost economic activities in other parts of the country. Lagosians will breathe air of relief again.

Do you know what would truly decongest Lagos? Allow States to control their resources so Lagos can "breathe air of relief"
Where do you think the money for this project is coming from? How much forex does Lagos generate for this country? The country has been leeching off the Niger Delta and they are not being unreasonable with any of their demands.

Re: Some Epic Coastal Highways From Around The World by etobaba: 11:00am On May 02
Actually discover that these coastal roads in those countries didn't affect the coastal nature of the topography. I have seen a lot of sand filling going on in Nigeria as against preserving the beauty of the terrain.

Yes it's a ppp model. But better know that in every ppp model, there must be an equity from the host entity.

Meaning both sides are actually investing, even though one side invests less than the other.

70/30. Investors 70%, Nigeria 30%. So we are good to go.

The Northerners are the ones that are ,'suppose' to be shouting their hearts out as per, the super project though a Nigerian project, it is a project that is DIRECTLY beneficial to the South at most. The North should be the ones crying bitterly but it is not their nature to wail.

But these BITTER people crying and crying sincerely need prayers to be freed from their CURSE. grin grin grin

Don't worry, by the time Tinubu hands over to the North. The ocean will be extended from the South to the North by the Northern president. You will still cry and cry and cry.

If you add all of their investments in Lagos it is not up to the investment of Dangote in Lagos who is from the North. Empty vessels makes the loudest noise. 😂

In your ignorant mind na only igbo and Yoruba be the tribes wey dey Nigeria and na only igbo people hate Nigeria...ignorant illiterate.

It's just another road project 🙄
We cross a lot of sea and land bridge from Lagos to benin, benin to port Harcourt.

.... Why are some people against a road infractsrtucturrlet?

I'm talking about a road in Ogun state now.

Sagamu to Benin is a mess. When last did you ply it?

Im not here to engaging you in tribal shit, I have passed that level in life. It's pure logic, there's no way it will make sense that a broke country wants to build a new road when thy have failed to rehabilitatee the existing ones.

Now even Benin to Asaba is falling apart. Oga, it's common sense. Fix all the existing roads and save some money for other things, a road we all know that they won't complete in another 30 Years.

Ignore those Lowlifes.

I have come to terms, that Nigeria can never be better.

We have very large population of Dumb and stupid ppl.
It's sad but the truth.

The old roads are bad.. moreover the highways were not built to handle heavy duty vehicles. You do realize that it takes 14 hrs to travel from Lagos to Abuja by road and almost 2 days to travel from Lagos to Borno right?. In the same Nigeria due to bad roads and pot holes along the highways.

You can't be wiser than your Government, applaud a good initiative and stop playing devil's advocate for your selfish interest.

Jargon.

So how does the coastal road solve this problems you mentioned?

That's life Oga and did anyone complain to you about loss of job over there?
Or is that part of Landmark the only structure that was demolished along the proposed highway line?
It's always you guys making noise all the time.

No, the Nigerian government is the one being wicked. Get informed about what is happening there. You care about the oil but not the people. The people should leave Lagos but they should keep supporting Lagos and South - West with their oil wealth. Smh

Must u all complain about everything?

Because some internal road are not good, we shouldn't have coastal road that can even attracts tourist across the World?
We must not progress?

Why are you and your people's mind so fixated? Retrogressive? Bitter?

Are you people mad angry
Kepukepu:
Show us their internal roads, are they as bad as east-west road and Benin-sagamu road?

Penny wise, pound foolish. If you cannot maintain Benin-sagamu road, na coastal road u go maintain?
Re: Some Epic Coastal Highways From Around The World by ThatFairGuy1: 4:55pm On May 02
Keep quiet there angry
Kepukepu:
Super costal roads are good but my question is why build another roads when you poorly maintain the existing ones even as a broke nation?

What's the guarantee that you will maintain the road?

Have you plied Benin to Port harcourt road before, you will understand what we are saying.

To me, it's foolhardy to see that sagamu to benin is collapsing, they spentore than 10 years now fixing that road but thy could not complete it.

Wondering why some people just decided to be bitter with the progress of Nigeria

Imagine those headless mob questioning why the fastening of the projects, hahaha same people who would have lambasted if the same project was abandoned.

They are just dull like their principal
You're Always in a HURRY to talk/type....
...always in a hurry to RETORT!
Always in a hurry to TROLL...
...without THINKING..
So you didn't know that this project has always been ABANDONED....
...and NO ONE ever COMPLAINED..
...all these DECADES...
Govt after govt ALWAYS abandoned it because the COSTS and ALL the RISK factors associated with the USE of such risky highway is not worth it!!
The driving culture of Nigerians and the Marine myth of many makes that Road DEATHLY
So no one WILL ever or has ever complained if the project is Abandoned.
It's not about Peter Obi but That money should be RECHANNELED!!

Use your God-given brain, it's free of charge.

3rd mainland bridge in Lagos was built despite Eko bridge and Carter bridge already in existence linking the mainland to island.. Today most people prefer taking 3rd mainland bridge cos it's faster.

Benin- Ore route won't handle the cars, buses, tankers, trailers, container trucks etc. that will be moving from Lagos in the West to South to East to North.. common sense dictates that we have another route for ease of movement. Or do you want petrol, gas tankers to be exploding along the Benin route just to satisfy your own myopic thinking?.. remember your family members can fall victim.
That coastal highway is a major game changer for Nigeria.
you guys are the ones who need to use your brains, if you have a car that is not brand new, and you have four kids who are out of School, who you can barely feed and a partner who is in need of millions for kidney transplant and you can only afford to spend money on one guess you would spend your entire savings to get a brand new ride. It's foolish how you all try to gaslight those who have a different opinion which to this project which I think is justified, you calling everyone who criticize this igbo and easterners just exposes how insensitive you guys are. We can't even finance our budget the economy is a mess right now, there are alternative roads at the moment just maintain those ones and others and try to invest the funds you borrow on economic infrastructure like manufacturing and production that can get you out of these mess immediately, is this too difficult for anyone to understand? Furthermore there are concerns also on the bidding process and the total cost of the project, I can't even take you guys seriously was this not the same card you guys played during the buhari's time? Buhari was destroying Nigeria, industries, the economy were dying anyone who speaks out was being called ipob, enemy of Nigeria, " I hate train, I hate bridges" .

you are the dense one here, guess I were the president and i decide to borrow 1 billion dollars from the world bank , with Nigeria's economic decline, high inflation, economic recession, lack of healthcare, highest numbers of people living in poverty, and the first thing I do with a billion dollar is to build a San siro stadium with 950 million dollars in yobe state, I guess you would be so proud of a billion dollar well spent, then I go and borrow another one billion and decide to send 5 lucky Nigerians to space 🚀. I would be president of the year to the Ronu idiot.
