It was then that Russia struggled to achieve air superiority because they didn't understand how to deal with the advanced air defences NATO supplied to Ukraine. The same will be the case if US was up against a Russia backed enemy with S-400 air defence system.

Now, Russia is pounding Ukraine from the air using glide bombs because they now understand better how to counter the threat of air defence systems. In fact, they hardly enter Ukrainian airspace so they are hardly exposed. Also, they have succeeded in locating and destroying some of these advanced air defense systems thanks to powerful surveillance drones and attack drones.

If you follow the news, Ukraine are everywhere begging for Patriot air defence system.

Russia is using glide bombs fired into Ukraine By it's Tupolev bombers deep inside Russian territory they are operating in Russia territory not Ukrainian airspace
No Russian pilot will fly a bomber into Ukrainian airspace.

The Ukrainians are asking for patriot defence system to counter the high level of cruise and ballistic missile fire by Russia into Ukraine not because of jets.

A 🇺🇸 U.S military jet crashed into the White Sands National Park near Holloman Air Force Base outside of Alamogordo on Tuesday.

According to Holloman Air Force Base officials, an F-16 fighter jet went down near White Sands National Park.

Officials say the pilot successfully ejected from the plane and was taken to a hospital for medical care.

The F-16 was assigned to the 49th Wing at the base.

Base officials say the public should avoid the area to prevent possible exposure to hazardous chemicals on the aircraft. The pilot has been released from the hospital.

White Sands National Park is open, but some areas may be closed to the public due to the emergency response.
