A lot of our fathers and some of us who were already adults by the 80s invested in Lagos simply because it was a federal capital territory. After the capital was moved to Abuja, my father and quite a lot of Igbo men of his generation shed tears of regret as they wouldnt have invested in a yoruba enclave if they knew that Lagos would lose its federal status.
