LegendHero: Are you referring to the shooting incident at Kent State University by the Ohio National Guard that killed 4 and wounded 9? That shooting triggered a nationwide student strike that forced hundreds of colleges and universities to close. Even President Nixon's top aide said that the incident transformed into Nixon's watergate scandal and exit Are you saying Nigerians should recreate that event for Lagos SG and FG? |

These are the students who are really educated properly not like the ones here who pass through because of certificates but the school didn't pass through them. Africa case study. 1 Like |

Fulani terrorists are using islamic jihad cover to carry out ethnic agenda genocides and horrors in Nigeria, you are not protesting against it. Your economy is down as a result of insecurity, you are failing to see reason. Now Gaza matter you come carry for head like gala. Who do you something? Farmers cannot go to farm again yet you are not talking. If you expect any economic miracle from the government, all you want is magic and it can't help. We need peace and security so that we can use production of goods and services to solve our problem. State police, please. |

socialmediaman: Sometimes it's good to break things down to a layman's level. Hypocrisy because the US is sponsoring protests elsewhere in the world including the ones that even turned violent/changed regimes/government while squashing the ones in their own country including arresting and locking people up. (Peaceful or violent protests, it doesn't matter to them). If you still don't see the hypocrisy here, then I must have been exchanging texts with an ostrich. 1 Like |

Go and drop the fulls in rafah, let them join the terrorists, you can't be in America enjoying peace and security while protesting against others trying to secure the lives of their families. |
Re: More Than 2,000 Pro-Palestinian Protesters Arrested Across US Campuses by socialmediaman: 4:10pm On May 03 |
Procashtips: Do you know there are about 10,000 Americans living in Georgia, a small country with a population of 3.7 million? About the population of Abia state? In comparison, only about 100,000 americans live in Nigeria with a huge population of over 200 million Now, the question is, did the US ask Nigeria or Georgia or any other country not to arrest people who use peaceful protests as a cover to cause violence and commit crimes in their country? Does the US itself not encourage peaceful protests and arrest violent protesters on US soil? |

US is the beacon of democracy. Which Muslim country people is not living in the US. The US allowed them into its country, gave them voice, freedom of speech and liberality which their countries won't give them or allowed them. Now, they want to overthrow the government, using disguise. Thank God they've been stopped before the thing escalates into terrorism. Infact, they should be tried and checked for terrorism because they could have affiliations for such and tendencies as well. The US will not allow any protest that will degenerate to capitol hill Jan 6 again. It would be stopped on time. I don't support the killing of innocent civilians but I didn't see any of them condemning HAMAS Oct. 7 attack on Isreali civilians and holding 200+ captive. They need to carry the two below along if they want to protest to be reasonable, or they should go to their countries to do the protest instead. Hypocrites 1. Protect the innocent civilians 2. Eliminate HAMAS terrorists 1 Like |

socialmediaman: What I am saying is that you should stop twerking for USA like they are a righteous government. If it was Nigeria that arrested and locked up protesting student, USA embassy would have issued nonsense saying Nigeria is stopping free speech and You my friend would have been condemning Nigeria government for arresting student. But same USA is doing exact same thing now and we should just support them because they are America. What make a peaceful and non peaceful protest? If USA student sleeping in tent is deemed āNot peacefulā, then is it Endsars own where people were caught eating police flesh that is āPeacefulā? So why then did USA condemn Nigeria government for how they handled the protest? 1 Like |

LegendHero: You didn't do your job right, instead you're complaining about what I would've done if you had done your job right. So, instead of doing your job right, you chose to murder innocent protesters. Does that make sense? I personally will NEVER complain about arresting and bringing anyone to justice who loots shops and causes destruction of property and infrastructure, i always feel bad seeing that anywhere in the world especially in Nigeria where there is little to no business insurance, it affects everyone's business and movement. The government should simply do their job, but don't murder innocent peaceful protesters |

LegendHero: Since u Muslims luv Russia and China, why not Palestinians students schooling in Russia and China hold a protest too? U tink Putin will even give them that chance? Death penalty will b given to them in Russia and China. U Muslims hate America buh quick to migrate over there and constitute nuisance there. Any aggrieved Muslim should move en masse to Gaza and fight for Hamas instead constituting nuisance in a Christian country. Remember America has zero tolerance for Muslims/terrorism after the 9/11 attack by Osama. Will u blame them? |

socialmediaman: Who are the innocent peaceful protesters murdered? Do you have their names so we can help you insult the government too? People protesting when curfew was already declared and blocking a major highway donāt look like peaceful protesters to me. Because if people sleeping in tents on campus are deemed ānon peacefulā, what metrics did you use to determine people blocking a major highway and protesting in defiance to government curfew are āpeacefulā? 2 Likes |

Keep the protests up guys. It is the USA sponsoring the genocide and mass murdering of Palestinians and USA is also the only country that can stop this mass murder. 1 Like |

LegendHero: So your point is that murdering peaceful protesters was the answer to them violating curfew? What happened to warning and dispersing them, and arresting those who resist and attack the police in response to efforts to peacefully disperse them, as would be done in the US? |

socialmediaman: My point is that you havenāt been able to back up your claim that soldiers indeed shot people dead in their numbers in Lekki. Also, if the military say we are shooting our bullet up to scare protesters to leave the venue. I personally see that as a stweepid decision on their part because they should know that shooting bullet up in a crowded space like that could cause harm to people and even death. The USA had killed protesters before too so stop saying āas the USA would have doneā. That is exactly why I mentioned the the Ohio story. So if you are going to give USA police the pass that it was a mistake on their part for killing those students, then why not use the same to remand the soldiers that are not unprofessional that shot up in a crowd instead of blaming Nigeria government? 1 Like |

LegendHero: I didn't back my claim? There was a report of shooting and killing of unarmed protesters at Lekki by a judicial panel: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/11/16/panel-of-inquiry-finds-nigerian-army-culpable-in-lekki-massacre I didn't give a pass by the way, a US federal grand jury indicted 8 members of the US national guard for the murder of the 4 students in Kent Ohio. Remind me how many of the shooters at Lekki were indicted and handed justice again? So tell me, who's giving the pass here and who's standing on the side of justice between both of us? |

socialmediaman: Have you read Lagos state government white paper report on the Lekki incident? They released it after the panel report you shared. Lagos state clearly rejected the claim of 12 people dying at Lekki toll gate because the panel was using deaths that happened at other places as tho they happened at Lekki. Below is a vanguard news stating the government rebuking the claim. Those that were affected in other locations were duly recommended for compensation. I donāt know why guys are fixated on conjuring your so called āLekki tollgateā when it was even other places that true death took place and nobody is seeking justice for those. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/11/breaking-endsars-lagos-govt-releases-white-papers-flays-judicial-panel-of-inquiry-reports-on-lekki-massacre/

Re: More Than 2,000 Pro-Palestinian Protesters Arrested Across US Campuses by socialmediaman: 6:39pm On May 03 |
LegendHero: The government's denial doesn't negate the facts on ground based on what happened at Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020 around 6:50pm. The judicial panel was commissioned by the Lagos State Government, and they made their findings which corresponded to eye witness accounts on the night of the event, and independent media reports backed by forensics. These findings were endorsed and validated by the US Government, the United Nations, the Center for Democracy Development, as well as Amnesty International. Case closed. Continue living in denial.
