That’s what would keep you going for the longest days. We’d be out here praying for your success..whatever you do, forget what you are in your civillian world, your relationship will shake but na wetin Dey true go Dey after you finish training…it’s a win win for you.
There are plenty tips I can’t give you here sha…you’d learn how to maneauver. Just know that you CANNOT impress anybody. Don’t even try it…you go just Dey work like Jackie when others Dey see peace for rest.

See how I’ve contributed for the benefit of all, I enjoyed the same from people like Mrsuama who dedicated their time to grow this thread. Please do well to update other future candidates with your experience to guide the path of those who come after us.

Don't worry, by the time you close and open eyes, u go dey wear camo by the third month and soon, camp highland go dey look you for face. Just stay safe and concerning your eyes be careful because your enemy can still be sent home. Use your brain and be smart and don't run away too loool

I started to fall in love with Military stuff from my childhood days because my uncles are in military ( 2 army and 1 air force).
So I applied for NDA 69rc in 2017 and made it to the Afsb screening. It was during that screening that I find out that I was myopic ( I wasn't able to read the Snell chart ) and I was put on a red button. It was one corporal that helped me out with phone, so I was able to reach my uncle and everything was sorted out and I wasn't sent home. But when the final list was out I didn't make it sha but they told that surviving 5 years in NDA with poor eyesight is very hard.
But my younger sister that use to wear glasses applied NDA 73rc and she made the final list ( she is coping with contact lense)
I hope this one favours me oo and if I don't make it to final list

Lol my course mate for university in our 400lv applied NDA and made it. He is now in terma 3 or so

Wow, I applied 69RC too and then 71RC. went for the interview on both occasions but didn't make the final list for similar reason. Could you pls drop your social media handle or number let's keep in touch. I plan to apply for the next DSSC recruitment come next year.

Kindly inform this thread when the NAF DSSC final list is released. Meanwhile, how many candidates in your state faced the board and other states too. Do u have idea on how many the NAF would pick from each states this year as I was told you guys that made it to the board were told training would commence 3rd of this month which has passed.

It was said that final list will be released on 3rd, not Training. And about the number, there are states that were left with 4, some 6, 7, 12 and the state with the maximum is about 13 or so. This figure is for my batch, cause the screening was in batches. It was rumored that 2 will be selected per state actually. I want to believe that's just a rumor though. Because 40 were shortlisted per state for screening. So, 2 out of 40 seems like a rumor and no fact

A quick one though, I have been on this thread since 2016, the days of Lt. Hamza , Lt. Mangojuice (God bless their souls) and Lt. Datigbogirl. My love for the military had me apply for 66RC, 24AK NN, Airforce DSSC, NA DSSC, last year was my peak year as I applied for all and every outfit, NDLEA, FRSC, ICPC, Immigration and all to success.

However, after listening to wise words from Officer Quadrilayinde, and seeing how senior man Ugo4u and Sikowitz all found other ways to move on seeing NA is not forthcoming, I also moved on by applying to other sectors. Fast forward today, I am certified banker, just had my graduation last Thursday from UBA academy.


My advice is that for those of us who for one reason or the other have not been successful yet with the military, find something to keep you busy while you prepare for the next intake.

So long as I still have age on my side, any advert by NA, I will put in for maybe I will be successful. But in the mean time, let's spread our tentacles and not waste our youthful years year after year waiting on NA.
