there is no Abracadra here, he is running 2p14s. that's a 14s NMC cells

there are several types of Lithium packs. 48V
Li-on/NMC - 14s
LFP - 15s (48V) 16s (51.2)
LTO - 20s
Sodium ion -15s

A 2P14S connection is supposed to give us 28 cells in total. Your man has got 24 cells visible in there. Except some cells are hidden under the bar as assumed by someone here.

Someone should get to this battery pack before it causes mayhems.

its left side has 2p8s, right side 2p6s.. that's 28 cells, there was a cell holder at the center of the pack. Note, that these are laser-welded packs.

Abeg make una help me look at this again, maybe na my eye dey pain me or some cells are hidden under that bar. If so, who would do such a DIY? Anything that would cross the terminals of a battery cell is bad, no matter how insulated you might make it. Except say that Bar na plastic.

Please can you give me examples reliable and rugged brands that are toroidal based transformer ?

Obnoxious2001:

Go with transformer based inverter.
If you are concerned about idle current, go with torrodial core transformer based inverters (it's mostly Chinese inverters that has the transformer in them)

It's obvious that cells were under the bar, that space cannot be empty, because all cells are welded.
Its to hold the cells from moving around.

Attached is one of the functions.
its a Voltage regulator, Current limiter, Grid Delay, volt and current meter, and shortcircut protection.

Lol, my setup isn't connected to grid at all. So no, I don't need a voltage regulator.

Just need breakers between inverter to battery, and inverter to AC output.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by durodee(m): 10:12pm On May 03
If you give it a second look, there is a sequence to the connections. The cells are first paired and then connected in series to the next cell pair. So the top connector (aluminium plate?) will show 1-2-3-4 cells and a then a break. Also, the edges of some cells can be seen peeking from underneath the bar. Therefore, it is safe to deduce some cells are there and likely to be 2 pairs to the left and right.

The harness wires should have been neatly arranged.

This is done to prevent dust and particles from going in.
It not meant to be removed
I removed mine, cleaned it and fixed it back. If if I show you the dust that I removed from there, you won't believe.
There is nothing that's permanently fixed in electrical appliances. Bolts/nuts are provided for easily access.......

I doubt the device came with those blockages. If it didn't, then it should be cleaned off
God bless you

Whosoever goes to this location should update us on how this abracadabra was done as I've asked this same question.

Did they do 16s and decided to run 8 cells in parallel to 8 leaving out 8 cells with no parallel?

Interesting what some DIY has under the hood the main reason I do ALL MY DIY from beginning to end.
we no de hide our own cheesy it is plain and professionally coupled!

If your inverter is under warranty and you try removing it, you automatically tempered it or make the warranty void

Hybrids are here to stay and have stood the test of time already. why are people still contemplating?
Hybrid gives you an Inverter, Charger, and MPPT, cheaper than any standalone.

example with 250K. you can have
a 3kva inverter with 60A charger,
80A MPPT, go and price stand-alone equivalent.

Hybrid allows you to customize slightly when grid charge, how much grid charge, when Solarcharge, Only Solar charge during the day and Grid charge in the night, etc. with standalone, you need to have good know-how and other tools to achieve these.

Sounds good. Pls how much did you get your Sako and the panels. Can you give us a breakdown of the cost implication of your setup. Are you using Lithium of Lead.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Parser: 6:47am On May 04
The solar gurus in the house. What's the Max. Watts you have had dissipated by your 40a & 60a pwm controller during setup...not theory oo! Real life experiences?

Latest review on our Offgrid 3000w EASun Pure Sine wave inverter.

- Truly pure sine wave. No humming sound from your devices
- Easy on your battery due to low self-consumption, giving you more backup time from your batteries
- Can power significant household loads like refrigerators, microwave, blender, toasting machine, and occasional heavy loads (like pressing iron, 0.5hp pumping machine and inductive, rated 1100w and lower). Just make sure your batteries can support the significant load consumption from these heavy applances

Price: 96,000

Hello house, please anyone with an idea what the cost of a 1kva 12v hybrid inverter cost?

No AC going in but yes, I'll install a breaker in output. Already bought one, just bought the wrong breaker box initially.

Oh, thought that was a LiFePo4 with 3.2v nominal voltage battery. My bad.

Nice one valto, we believe you; but next time let the picture you post bear same name with the previous picture you posted just like the one that has the inscription Redmi Note 12 Pro.

Am only saying this because of doubters that would observe above and remain silent about it!

Doubt you'll see. Even Longi 350w panels are 11A. Same as Jinko 440W.

Hello good morning everyone.
I’ve just spoken to the Jos guy this morning and he said I should take the battery to someone on his team here in Lagos to help check it out. He has sent me the persons numer.
I Will be updating the group on the outcome. Thanks to everyone for their concern and advice.
UPDATE
I dropped off the battery with the guy the Jos guy sent me his number this morning at VGC and he said he will check the battery and let me know what needs to be fixed in it before the end of the day.
I will post more updates later
