Arsenal pay tribute to Gunners fan Daniel Anjorin after the 14-year-old was murdered in a sword attack in east London


Anjorin, a boyhood Arsenal fan, was killed on Tuesday on a suburban east London street in Hainault while on his way to school. Four other people were injured during the incident.

In less than two days, 5,000 people donated to a fundraiser for the family and Arsenal decided to pay tribute to the youngster during their Premier League clash at Bournemouth.

The Gunners conducted a minute of applause after 14 minutes had been played at the Emirates stadium, with Bournemouth and the fans taking part too.

A man has been brought before the court, facing charges for the murder of 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin in a sword attack that took place in London.

Sky News reports that the Spanish-Brazilian national named Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo resides in Newham, east London and has been charged with a series of offences.

These charges include two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article, the police announced on Wednesday.

Four people were injured, including two Metropolitan Police officers, on Tuesday.


Monzo, aged 36, made an appearance at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today and was subsequently remanded in custody this morning.

The defendant was ordered to remain in custody until his appearance at the Old Bailey, scheduled for Tuesday unless a hearing can be arranged on Friday.

The UK should administer stringent immigration laws to countries of the law breakers

If your son is murdered with a SWORD in UK and mine is living well and safely in Nigeria, I'm sure that you will never agree with anyone that UK security is better than that of Nigeria
