I am sure if you no mention Anambra or ibo race u won't survive in it.

I mentioned many places where miscreants have been returned from Lagos.

Why are you particularly concerned about 1place out of many mentioned?

Govt n lies where the 250k
Only imbeciles believed the 250k lies.
Even if it was criminals that do robberies under the bridge that lived there, how many successful raids can they carry out in a year to get rent of 250k,feed,go out,buy water and then "flenjure" on top.
At most these people were paying 25k a year which is more likely to even be monthly 2k or 3k because they can't afford to raise and save money for yearly payment.
Re: Why I Lived Under Lagos Bridge – 75 Year Old Ghanaian (Picture) by PrimeWatermark: 4:26pm On May 06
You think it's annual payment? For such places, it's daily payment.
Probably N700/day.

Life can happen to you at anytime. He may not have anyone back at Ghana.

Very sad and depressing. May God help him. The journalist should have put his no for people to assist.
For those callous once commenting may Life not happen to you.you could get cancer, become paralysed, have a bad accident. Or you just get unlucky and life will not give you any breaks.

You may find out one day how this broken man feels.when we are young and in good health, we feel immortal but life is like russian roulette

There's poverty in Ghana, just like Nigeria though

Na those people who stay in such places rob and stab people in traffic in Lagos.

Na this kind homeless people attack that cyclist, Dr Afolabi Mabogunje, and ended his life over a petty theft. While the females are spreading STDs with their prostitution.

The government should clear out all the slums and shanties.

Let the one from Kogi return to her parent's house in Kogi, while the Ghana man should return to Kumasi.

That is why Fashola did the same thing and returned homeless people back to their respective states in Osun, Niger, and Anambra.

Why would you be staying under the bridge in Lagos when you are a billionaire from Anambra? Especially at a time Anambra Governor was buying over 450 SUVs for traditional leaders?
I know you must mention Anambra. They will torment you till death. Efulefu

That's no yardstick to resort to illegitimate livelihood and degradation of state facilities. If LAGOS is expensive for you, try other options. You can't jeopardize the lives of others because country is hard.

cool u dey mind them? U have 250k and you'll live like a 🐀 🐁 under bridge grin?.I told a fellow here last week that the yearly amountnis probably N2,500, not 250k.One can rent room/parlour in Agege, mushin, Oshodi,Abule Egba,Isheri, ikotun,Egbeda ,Ajangbadi, etc.@10k per month
CommonSense1967:
If you really believe that those people were paying 250k then you are one of the most gullible Nigerians. In the same way, one guy claimed that his business was worth $100 million on one show, then on another show on the same day claimed it was worth 200 Million dollars. I was just laughing. grin grin grin He's laying claims to a property that he doesn't even own nor ever purchased.
the sad part is that the lazy press and the gullible Nigerians just went along with the false narratives without asking hard questions.

At this point. Past and current students of Remo secondary school should put something together for this man. Without doubt, he contributed to their development academically at a point in life. Hei rewards need not to wait till he gets to heaven.

He didn't go back home with the Ghana-must-go frenzy of the 1980 and 90s era? Too bad!

I can speak proudly speak for my area in Lagos, a lot stayed and were "shielded" by the local community, one that comprised people of all tribes who agreed that the policy was imbecilic in its implementation.

The only difference you would have noticed was you weren't allowed to call them by their non Naija, non English names like Mensah etc

I always watch Joy tv, a Ghana tv station. Their no much difference from Nigeria. They voted out a fair president and elected a bad one twice. Just like Nigeria, they always complain of corruption, hardship, poor power and everything we complain about here.
