It is not the responsibility of the banks to invest heavily in cybersecurity and ensure that customers' data and transactions are secure. Are we not paying transfer fees? Why cannot they deduct the expenses from their monthly profit to handle this? A lot of companies in other countries invest heavily in cybersecurity and they pay from their profit because it's one of the core responsibilities of any reasonable business that runs on the internet. Very soon, these mad people will start charging us fees to pay their customers.

JPMorgan Chase bank spends $15 billion every year on cybersecurity, and they have over 62,000 employees in charge of cybersecurity.
