If someone sends me money to help him/her buy something, I will pay a tax. If someone sends their age parents money for upkeep, they will pay a tax?

This will further drive up commodity prices and exercebate general inflation because the businesses will transfer the charges to goods, drivers will transfer the charges to transport fares, employers will transfer the charges to employees by reducing certain freebies, private schools will transfer it to more levies....also, more monies will now stay out of the banks because of the useless new charges. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Is it not this man that was complaining that people are hoarding cash that about 90% of naira is outside the banking system (correct me if l am wrong). Now with this truly 90% of our Naira will reside comfortably outside the banking system (Note just my observation correct me if l am wrong)

Tinubu gradually unveiling his real Mephistophelian self to Nigerians. Mind you that these different charges will be brought to bear on the same transaction. That is, for a single transaction you will be charged for cyber security, sms, VAT, etc. Make you no think say na only one of those different charges per transaction. No. You go soon pay up to #3k for a single #100k transaction. We dey. Our God pass them.

You say too much cash outside the banking system and you’re introducing this nonsense

More bulk cash will leave the system

You’re rubbishing the cashless policy which several past cbn governors have suffered to try to establish

Very unqualified CBN governor this Cardoso

You just unilaterally increased prices of goods and services while still trying to fight inflation. Which school did you go to? Please a marketer in a bank is not a ‘banker’ without operations experience. He’s just like any marketer in any other firm.

Businesses will pass on the prices of this charges to customers

Desperate thieves looking to tax evertthing and steal as much as they can

If I may ask. After the collection of this money. What will the money be use for ?
I think the government should only tax the foreigners and allow Nigerian citizens to breath! No benefits whatsoever received from the government all what we wake up to hear is government receiving from us making life unbearable for the poor.
I think this is not the best time for all this, Nigerians has gone through so much, It is time to give back to the masses please! dear government ,unless very soon there will be no one to govern anymore.
