It's therefore ludicrous for anyone to go to the media, just to disparage the lofty image of wofai. An image attained through determination, hardwork and resilience. (1) Wofai is 33years old. Even her elder sister is not up to 38
(2) The mother of Taiwo, Wofai's husband, was present at the traditional marriage ceremony in Ugep.
(3) Taiwo's father, Engr Cole knew about the marriage plans and even called and promised coming to Ugep to see me . But changed his mind at the last minute. The spurious claim of the lack of information and awareness about the marriage is borne out of ethnic sentiments.

I thought both families meet before marriage as in Introduction in almost all cultures maybe if this process was followed this mess wouldn't have occurred.

Questions should have been raised when the father who had been spoken with didn't show up.

Either way theTaiwo guy should have known better. There are ways parents from polygamous families and those that are Seperate come together to agree for marriages. His won't be the first or last.

Your surname is your birthright and your biological father has no permission to deny his surname to you. By surname I mean the surname of your government name. So your name is also a label belonging to Goverment that exceeds your power and jurisdiction. Without a court order, you can’t change your Goverment name.

Engineer Kunle Cole, the father-in-law of Wofai Fada addresses the disclaimer regarding the family’s rejection of their son’s wedding while listing reasons.

This came after Wofai Fada and her partner, Taiwo Cole engaged and did their traditional wedding in Ugep, Cross River State.

During a audio leaked conversation between Taiwo’s father and his friend, the engineer addressed the relationship of his son with the actress and his reason for a public disclaimer

According to the engineer through leaked conversation, Wofia Fada is 38 years old while his son is 30; and the marriage arrangement was briefly mentioned to him without proper channels followed.

He added that his son who met Wofai barely 7 months ago claimed she was pregnant with his child, hence, the rush to tie the knot without wasting time unlike his father’s suggestion to investigate her background.

It turns out that Wofai is actually 34 years old. The dude is 30 years old... Not a bad age difference though.

The young man (Taiwo Cole) should have gotten the blessings of his father and his folks before going to Ugepland for the traditional wedding ceremonies. That's the Yoruba and indeed African way of doing things before bringing two families together... even in most parts of the wirld. Investigations of family backgrounds are also very significant.

In any event, a DNA 🧬 test should also be done before the child is born (more expensive to do) or just right after the child is born to determine the true paternity of the child.
