He has been prepared for it which is why he has been tackling the hard decisions that most administrations have always promised and dodged
like Subsidy removal . The inaction of 50yrs before him is what he is undoing now. Imagine the Coastal road that has been in blueprint stage for over 50yrs is finally getting traction and moving ahead

This is the renewed hope 8m Nigerians voted for
Education subsidy gone.
Fuel subsidy gone.
Electricity subsidy gone.
All subsidies gone.
Prices of everything has quadrupled.

On top of that Nigerians are being squeezed with taxes like never before since the history of the country. No one has seen any benefit from the money you claim to be saving from subsidy except awarding contracts to family and friends.

If this is his renewed hope, it is from hell.

Egbon, just imagine being a Nigerian and a Man Utd fan at this period.

I have a feeling you guys will turn up against Arsenal.

Looking forward to the tears on the faces of Harvetz and jorginhoe after the match.

We can't say because the last protest we had didn't work out as expected, we should just stand by, fold our arms and watch this government turn all of us into paupers.

And while youre right about endsars, it's not the only protest we've had. There have been several protests in the past that forced the hand of the government.

Name one single protest that has succeeded after ENDSARS .

Everybody have decided to use their hand cos if u don't , government will use it for u with propaganda.

Shey na Ajaero protests don succeed after 2020 or which one exactly ?

APC that will sponsor counter-protest sharp sharp . U won't even protest for one hour before u jam counter-protesters .

Me I don't support any protest because it won't achieve anything under this APC government . Didn't u hear Ajuri recently claiming on live TV that u , me and everyone on this thread's spending power has increased under this government ? grin

Tinubu said new minimum wage will come into effect by May 1st. Today is May 7th and na cricket.

These are low hanging fruits that can give the administration point.

Whatever good intentions you might have, if people are not seeing any action or implementation of those intentions, its zero. The suffering is too much mehn.

Tinubu will be a year in power in 22 days, his time is ticking very fast.

Increase minimum wage

Let the student loan kick off

Launch the consumer credit scheme

Reduce food inflation angry

Just fùcking give us hope first, the renewed one can wait at this point.

Anybody that decides to lead any protest under this government , they will always get something on him to discredit him and his motive.

Bros Ajaero is compromised. It's too glaring. The man keeps getting into needless controversy with state chapters of the NLC and turning the NLC to a political dog for hire. That's why nobody really send this Ajaero led NLC.

NLC under Oshiomole or the previous guy would've shut down the country with all the nonsense this FG is doing.

I never said Ajaero is not compromised . All I've said is that nobody can successfully lead a protest under this current government to force the hand of the government .

Why ?

Because this government will use propaganda to ruin such protest leader . It is what it is .

There's the internet and then there's reality. Most people I know in real life who genuinely thought this Tinubu's administration was actually going to usher in renewed hope for them have actually seen that is not the case. On the internet it is normal for everybody to grandstand taunting each other about the outcome of the elections, political differences , etc.

Off the internet, everybody resident in this country are living the reality. This is not even about any "baby step of pain". When u hear people talking and lamenting, u will know it goes beyond just using word of mouth to support government on empty stomach.

MTN and other telecos are already mulling idea of increasing tariffs in line with current economic reality. They feel it is unfair that almost all manufacturer and service providers can increase price but they can't due to regulations. Imagine if that one adds to the food inflation and all these new taxes Tinubu is coming up with.
I think they silently increased their data charge, cos data burn out faster now than before. Your post is spot on, the realities is touching everybody living in Nigeria including the super rich....

This pic perfectly depicts who Tinibu is.

The only way his govt generates money is from the pockets of the already impoverished masses.

Everyday that passes, they keep thinking oit new ways to tax people...and the money ends up looted, cos nothing positive comes out of it.

The south of Togo 🇹🇬 does not have the same terrain as southern Nigeria even though both are close to the Atlantic ocean. A Simple Google map would have shown you how rugged the terrains in the Niger delta is to that of Togo before bringing it for your comparison. Have you seen the large bodies of water in those areas? How do they intend to connect two places separated by rivers of about 50km apart?. I'm sure you would have also doubted or question the possibility of this project if your favorites weren't the ones at the helm of affairs.
You don't need to come up with fables or impossible things
Places separated by River of about 50KM apart? You mean a river of 50km wide. Lagos to Ibadan is about 120km you mean a River will be half of Lagos to Ibadan in width?

If there is a river in Nigeria that is 50km wide can you show me? Also the construction will target the narrowest part of the river unless you mean there are some Rivers in Nigeria where the Narrowest points are 50km apart?

It feels you are serving a combination of phillip LAHM-BA

This map of the Togo coast shey that body of water is large enough?

You have misunderstood what he meant as it is that there is a river for every less than every 50km you travel. But that's by the way. The key point in what he was saying is that you would have countered the government and it's policies if your do not favour the people there. This is just the truth.

The river every 50Km is why the road will be more expensive than a regular dryland road. Yet it is necesary otherwise we will abandon those areas and not have roads connect their community because they have a terrain of rivers

You know constructing Kano to Jigawa will be cheaper than constructing 2nd Niger bridge too, so should we scrap the 2nd Niger bridge because of the terrain?

If the policy does not make sense I will counter it. Not just counter for the sake of it. For example I did not support the policy or proposal to invade invading Niger unless there is something in it for us which the interested parties are willing to give us to help them

That is an example, I am not like Bitter Obi

Our president is not mentally acute so processes are delayed........those pre election blunders were not all results of stress and pressure.
