Peter Obi has been vindicated. Everything he said about if the APC candidate win elections have all happened. Peter Obi during his campaign, interviews, debates and even manifesto proposed a pattern that have worked with western countries. He said plug all the loopholes where Nigeria is losing trillions from . He pointed it out one by one including mentioning how to stop the theft in oil sector. He mentioned that if you spend those trillions in form of small businesses and other grants on Nigeria population of 300m , the multiplier effect will create jobs and all manner of business opportunities for the common masses, make the country the biggest economy in black Africa and provide government with a very big tax base. The western nations Nigeria presidents kneel to beg money every time doesn’t have oil but this simple model. The question is why do i believe Peter Obi would do what he said he would do and not betray his supporters. In 2006 when he became governor he said he won’t continue Ngige massive road construction projects but would instead do ANIDS program which is the simultaneous development of every sector gradually in Anambra. That idea did not go down well with anambra coupled with his stingy profile that most people rejoiced when he was impeached and only accepted him back through the courts because then they saw him as a better alternative to Andy Uba who became governor the Tinubu style but by the time he did four years all the people who hated him started loving him gradually when they saw he made a headway and succeeded with his unconventional style of leadership which culminated in US MIllenium development Goals giving him awards consecutively for being the best governor in Nigeria and only governor in Africa who fulfilled the development goals they set for Africa. By the time he left power he had not only implemented above 80% of his manifesto but had become a cult hero even among the ones that didn’t believe in his style of leadership. I believe strongly that if Peter Obi becomes president he will implement all those policies he said that made Nigerians to fall in love with his unconventional style but also made career politicians and their minions to hate him unconditionally 123 Likes 7 Shares |
