Removing subsidy alone is enough to win 3 terms in my books. That is what we have been trying to do for 20yrs and each president will be dribbling us
Did Tinubu protest against this same subsidy removal against Jonathan or not?

Consumption tax is normal anywhere in the world. I’m not against taxation but at least make we see benefits of taxation. That’s the grievance any person with intact intellect will care about.

Even to pay Naija‘s relatively low 23% tax been dey vex me because I no dey see wetin e dey do.

We have been paying 5% vat on business transactions until it was raised to 7.5% a few years ago. There is also 10% withholding tax

I think the governments real long term goal is to find a way to tax transfers that are really payments.

But if the govt wants everyone to go cashless as the CBN has been trying to do since, isn't it counterproductive to want to tax transfer? We already pay transfer fee, why should we be paying tax on transfer also?

Even that cybersecurity levy, there should be a minimum and maximum threshold. Imagine a business doing a transfer of millions, if the business do 2 10m transfer in a days, that's 100k on levy alone. It's an absurdity.

Getting job from Nigeria that helps with relocation is very rare. The federal express entry is still the best path, you just need to find a way to stack up your points.

You can try regional express entry also but most of them requires having a federal express entry profile also.

It's the long time the express entry always takes that just tires me out. I see people saying it took them years on the queue noni.

Can share with me a link to a thread I can read on how to stack up points and all?

This one that all countries are even making the student route with spouse difficult sef just tire me; would've gone through that route sef

Isn't it scary that we now look back and say the days you left were good old days.

Imagine looking back at today in the future and wishing things can go back to how they currently are.
