If you can speak Hausa, added advantage to fast track the process.
Abnormality is now the new normal. So Hausa is our official language?

What do think about Malta?

Is it a place worth it? Like if my spouse wants to school and I go as dependant; are there jobs there?

My fear is that I don't want to resign a decent paying job here, going with my spouse as dependent only to resort to jamajama job over there with no prospect of getting a better job. That's my fear with those European countries
Malta no pure

Anything Mediterranean especially Italy, Greece and Malta, avoid

I have been to Malta and dem no get money like that. Everyday thousands of tall black guys (most likely Senegalese, Bissau etc) will line up the streets, obviously jobless and waiting for work, and Maltese builders will come and scoop a few of them for work, and will obviously pay them less than minimum wage. If you see the way they slave under hot sun ehn, the sun in Malta is scorching and can be hotter than Naija

Any European country where you see that they ignore illegal immigrants (without providing housing for them) just know they don't have economic prospect for you. They then allow the immigrants to work illegally for pittance and turn a blind eye since they can't provide housing for them. Italy, Greece and Malta are chief amongst these

......I don't know why we ain't looking at some African Nations that are doing fine economically.

I have a friend in Senegal earning equivalent to $2,000 per month plus free accommodation. Cape verde, Mauritius, Botswana can offer good pay and treat us as Expatriates.

No IELT required, No Visa required and you will be treated like King. One can japa to any of these nations as stepping stone to western world.
Botswana, Namibia, Cape Verde, Kenya can absorb some of us.

Carribbean countries can also absorb plenty as first step to Japa especially in Medicine, IT and Finance

It’s not much. I honestly don’t understand the reason for all the noise. 50k on 10m. 5k on 1m.

Abeg na the charges be this? huh

People and misplaced priorities sha.

The good roads and electricity that people are clamoring for, is it not money that will be used to maintain them? So where will the money come from if nobody pays tax.
So instead of questioning the purpose of the levy, you're addressing how "little" it seems lol.

So it is the cyber security levy that will miraculous provide the fund to fix our epileptic power supply going on 70 years now. Once banks start charging the levy, the very next day, they will start fixing potholes all over the countries and building functional transportation networks. It is the cyber security levy that will fund a new Nigeria Air that works. It is from the cyber security levy that our healthcare systems will be turned around into an envy of different countries.

Yes, it is from the NSA's purse that fund will be diverted into other ministries' purses, to complete projects for which those ministries were established in the first place.

UK market over worth am. The job market for professionals is extremely robust. But you must be polished in UK. Communication is very important to them. If you see a Nigerian struggling here, it's usually cos they can't speak clearly or have confidence issues with communication

But if I'm trying to Japa now, I would prefer Ireland. Ireland has more finance and IT jobs than people to fill them. Irish companies are always coming to UK to steal staff.

.....apparently you have never been to any Federal Ministry Secretariat in Abuja. Hausa is first official language at any of the Ministries, follow by English Language.

If you spend couple of hours at Federal Ministry of Education, you'll definitely hate this country more. You'll see hausas/fulanis in number being led in to facilitate their scholarships to study abroad.

You'll be wondering why the opportunities ain't reaching us in the southern part. LOL!

Switzerland na Baba. I never even add the language barrier (they have four official ones)

BTW guys if you still get head for school, try direct Bsc to PhD for USA.

In my case it's a little easier because my degree is a professional one, but you go still see. Those guys can fund anything, including the study of snails inside ogbono soup.

I have a junior colleague who didn't even do internship and is now doing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at George Mason University.

My guy from here just went to Bermuda as their Finance Secretary to the Govt. That makes him the no2 man in the Finance Ministry after the Finance Minister. That job was unfilled for 3 years. It is clear that they have lack of skills to fill some jobs in Carribbean

https://www.royalgazette.com/general/news/article/20240403/chidozie-ofoegowo-named-financial-secretary/

Afrodoc also did his Japa through Trinidad and met my cousin there who Japa through the same route. A lot of Nigerian doctors Japa through there. Those people have just enough money to provide good jobs by Nigerian standards but don't have enough of their population highly educated to fill those roles
