It was just released now but it was signed in December 2023.

Seems like Fubara got all this planned but that peace accord Initiated by Tinubu made him to step it down.
As it is now those 27 members will have to start battling the order of the state high court till they get to the Supreme Court.
Now Mary Odili will become Fubara's unofficial legal adviser. Interesting times ahead.

Is it not the prerogative of the law makers to decide where to conduct their business as long as the mace is available.

Why compel them to have their sitting at a particular place for a phantom renovation.

The game dey sweet until the opponents gain control.

You can't dislike tyranny and support this brazen muzzling of the legislative arm.

The court just ruled that those 27 memshould stop parading themselves as state lawmakers.
As it stands until they vacate that order, they're persona non grata

He stepped it down because of the peace accord, but it looks like Tinubu has too much on his plate already to reason Rivers matter.

Power pass power.Federal Police made useless and left hunting for bolted rat.Fubara is not alone some PDP bigwigs who are annoyed with Wike are indirectly fighting him through Sim.Wike will likely lose his popularity in River State because River's people and many other Nigerians will rise up in support of the current governor.

Actually, a court order asked the state govt to designate a place for the lawmakers to meet. It's that order that birthed this executive order

Are u not aware that there was motion of the court today restraining Martin and his friends from parading themselves as Assembly members nor seating anywhere to carry out legislative functions? Because they are not members of the Rivers State House of Assembly by virtue of their defection? U that knows the law.

At the bolded Wike did not give the President any other choice than to just look the other way, because Wike and his boys were not doing what they promised in the peace accord.
As it stands Tinubu will not support any impeachment, not now that his rating is very low and Rivers state is a delicate state.
The 27 former members will lose out.
