SoNature:You've never come across as having anything meaningful to say so who cares what you think? However, I will grace you with a limited reply:1. The idea that the military behaves differently in the South from the North is provable nonsense. 2. I did not defend any military "strategy and operation". Do you lack comprehension? I simply said the contexts are different so the person I quoted should not make such ridiculous comparisons. |

SmartyPants:Did the okuama people join hands with the killers of the soldiers, in committing such atrocious act? You are now calling it of points and attention seeking because it happened in the north this time. Had it being it happen in the east will you be saying this rubbish? Make una keep shifting the goal post, and after doing that una shout "one Nigeria". |

Mbanda:Who were the killers of the soldiers if not the Okuama youths? And does that mean the army was right to raze down the community? Obviously not! Principles are principles regardless of North, South, East or West. |

SmartyPants:The terror gang that killed the military in kaduna is from where? If you said Okuama youths were the ones that killed the military, isn't it obvious that, it was kaduna youths that killed those military men. |

Mbanda:Don't be ridiculous. 1. The Okuama crisis was two communities at war. This is what led to the angle of the soldiers being attacked by members of one particular community. 2. In this particular case, we are dealing with local communities being attacked by bandits (Fulani militias) whereas the army is there to protect these communities. These are totally different scenarios, and you obviously know it but you want to prove a point. |

SmartyPants:The bandits ( as you put it) are from where? Ok, what of in SE where unknown gun men will come from nowhere and kill army. The next thing that will happen is the military going to the village and it's surroundings (where the killing of the soldiers took place) and start killing people in hundreds and raising houses and shops down. And you people will be on nairaland, Twitter and other social media platforms cheering the army for killing the innocent. Now the same thing has happened in the north and your here shifting the goal post. Is that not hypocrisy and double standard? |

Mbanda:Kindly show me where I did such. Why are you accusing me falsely? |

SmartyPants:But you are here supporting what the military did in okuama somehow. |

Mbanda:I'm not supporting it at all. I'm saying that people should not use Okuama as an example of the military being more brutal in the South than in the North. The military is generally brutal and this is wrong every time. So many atrocities have been committed in the north. |
