The situation in Sudan is really horrifying, we often say that the west should stay away from the affairs of Africa but here we are watching Sudan as the country burns down

I don't know what is stopping African union from sending soldiers to Sudan.

Also shame on Sudan's army, it is clear they don't have the capacity to defeat RSF.

President Tinubu should consider sending small number of our soldiers to Sudan
he shld send ONLY hausa/fulani/bh soldiers there pls!

Try & be specific next time!
Tenks!

Animals fight each other too, like chimpanzee, Lions, hyena etc. In terms of going to war, the Chimpanzee goes to war, lions and hyena also figtt war to some extent.

Wars are fought over competition for resources, power and influence.

OgThanos:
Can't people just learn to be tolerant, every year is just one war or the other..

Something just crossed my mind right now..
I have never seen or heard about any kind of animal breed/species fighting war with one another.

What am I even saying undecided

But this is a muslim country, why is the Islamic world unconcerned?

Why is there more focus on Palestine than this country?
What have they done for Palestine? These ones can still sit down together and talk if they want it. It's a totally different ball game in the case of Palestine, they're at the mercy of a rampaging nation of lunatics supported unconditionally by the mighty power of USA

Goodlady:

As a Nigerian, are you proud of the renumeration and welfare of the NA?
If yes, kindly volunteer as part of those that FG ll send to Sudan.

Secondly, you def called on African leaders. Shebi they all saw what's happening there. So why you dey blame the West?
See as African kingdoms do evil before slave trade, aiding slave trade and all sorts before arrival of Europeans or Arabs?
If your home is desolate, why won't oitsiders loot? So those African Union are the failure that failed to protect Sudan or any conflict ridden nation in Africa. Cos there should v been a clear voice from AU that we tried to help but na them no accept the help.
Lastly there's fire in ya backyard. Aren't you appalled by the kidnapping that has refused to stop or reduce in Nigeria?
Shey until you hear of who you know?
Focus more on good rule in Nigeria.
I don hear my lady

Permit me to ask where is the world police (US) the so called peace makers.
Also where is UN security council, for more than a year, they ignored the issue,
Where are these so called world monitors and peace Keepers when thousands of people are dying daily in Sudan and Congo.
The hypocrites are nowhere to be found,
May God help us and protects us from war and chaos.

Sudan is a clear example of how breaking up a country may not bring peace or prosperity to the new countries that broke out from the old country. Since Sudan and South Sudan broke out from the old Sudan, the old problems still persist, no peace, poverty, insecurity and many others embarassed
South Sudan is at peace. The side at war is the original Sudan they broke out from

South Sudan is at peace. The side at war is the original Sudan they broke out from…similar like Biafra breaking out from Nigeria and then Fulani herdsmen, bandits etc from the north descend like the arab militia in Sudan on Yoruba towns and villages with the aim of ethnic cleansing and bloodshed to wipe them out of their lands. That’s the picture in Sudan

Wahala for Africans and their entitlement mentality 😂. If the West spearhead support for Sudan, then they are doing it for their own selfish interest. They want to scoop the country of their natural resources. They stay away now, they don't care. Confused Africans 😂😂😂

You mean Africa leaders can not handle their issues without crying to the West?

Why should the US care about what's happening in Sudan? You despise them, yet you seek their help. Lol
Handle your business yourself and quit waiting for the US to feed you, else you folks will come up with another story about the US interfering in your affairs!

You're not informed.
South Sudan broke away after a bitter civil war with it's former country, sudan. The latter would go ahead to sponsor a rift that led to a civil war in the new nation for 30 years. Granted, Sudan wasn't the originator of the rift. The rebels that fought Sudan, were fighting each other to be in power.

Sudan has finally had peace after a 30 year civil war instigated and funded by Sudan government.

Sometime around 2019 or 2020, a riot broke out in Sudan due to the increase in prices of things. Bread was the focal point. People on nairaland hailed the spearheaders of the riot, especially as it was led by a very young lady. This crises led to the king of Sudan fleeing. And the first rule of regime change is, there should be a widely accepted replacement. The king of Sudan died.

And the cause if this current civil war is because different factions are fighting to be in power. It is not the break away that happened approximately 40 years ago that caused it. It is almost the same thing that caused the 30 year civil war among their southern neighbor: factions fighting for power.

There are better things to use for unity begging. Misinformation shouldn't be one.

Happy sunday

Northern Sudan is Islamic country, they were the problem of Sudan then and the one refusing breaking up.

South Sudan is now enjoying peace compared to the North. So it made sense breaking from them.

Your slave masters called you Blacks and called themselves Whites and you accepted it.

Ethiopians were not colonized and don't accept the term Blacks as race. If you choose to call yourself Black then it's your business. Don't expect others to follow your stupidity.

They are Ethiopians not Blacks.
You can't call Indians, Pakistanis etc Blacks just because they are darker skinned when compared to others.

Me I'm not a Black man and I don't see the Europeans as Whites.

I'm Igbo not Black!
