Like, people says when your phone fall on water, you should dip it inside rice, that it does suck out the water.

I can't explain the science behind it, but it works 99%

I’ve done it 2 times and it worked.

It doesn't work. You will achieve the same result just leaving your phone to dry normally. Just turn off the phone (remove battery if it is removable) immediately and patiently wait 24 to 36 hrs. You can quicken the drying process if you've the skills to open up the phone, and dry off the wet parts, but for the most part, many don't have such skill.

Meanwhile, emphasis on " Switching Off " your phone as soon as it gets wet! It's the most important step to prevent possible damage. If you leave it on, the phone's internal circuitry gets fried!
