Obi was only the lesser evil out of the 3 main contenders at the last election . Obi himself is corrupt . Any Nigerian that thinks otherwise is a compound fool. Obi will do anything to hold on to the fragile structures of LP . Without it , he will be a partyless politician .

As I mentioned some days ago, does Peter Obi carry the Obidients and his pseudo-loyalists along when he takes certain decisions?

Obi had no business visiting and endorsing Abure without consulting the likes of Kenneth Okonkwo and Aisha Yesufu who have been the loudest voices on his behalf.

Here was a comment I posted when Obi visited Atiku without considering the feelings of Obidients.

This is the biggest problem with the Igbo race. Seeing as it is that his principal Obi is supporting Abure, a typical Yoruba or Hausa man will either keep quiet or find a not so controversial way to put this. But igbos, they will keep showing the world, how unorganized and divided they are. Kenneth Okonkwo has just lost my respect.

Without unity, the Igbo race will NEVER produce a President again.

Toh! Much as I can’t stand this Okonkwo man, it seems he has more principles than that clown Obi who quickly ran back to endorse the structure of criminality after Atiku’s camp exposed his clandestine meetings with PDP. Realizing Atiku is only using his head.

Then again maybe he has done the math, read the tea leaves and realized Obi can never be president and is seizing the opportunity to make a break back to APC. He has already publicly insulted Atiku, calling him a geriatric on Arise TV. I said at the time there is no way Obi and Atiku can work together after the way Okonkwo insulted Atiku on Tv.

Kenneth Okonkwo has my highest respect for this action. Our greatest loyalty is to truth before any human being.

HE Peter Obi candidacy for President has national support and it's for the best interest of Nigeria. It's not an ethnic pursuit.

HE Peter Obi should be very careful or else all his political capital will be buried if he fails to demand for a unity convention as the only basis for his continued stay in LP. It was disturbing to me to see the support of HE Alex Otti for the Abure led NWC by allowing the Deputy Governor of Abia State to participate prominently in the Kangaroo national convention in Nnewi a few months ago.

LP as it stands today without holistic party restructuring and transformation stands no chance of victory in 2027.

I'm surprised that people that should know better are blind to this obvious reality on ground.

It takes a working Labour Party to birth a working Nigeria for a New Nigeria to be a reality.

Labour Party and HE Peter Obi have till the end of this year to put the party in order or he risk losing the 2027 elections more than 2 years before the ballot.

The unity convention is the only pathway for the needed reconciliation in the party. The current Abure led NWC is a joke and they're positioned just to waste the financial resources, hard work and emotional investments of millions of Obidients across the country and in the diaspora.

HE Peter Obi should have at least two viable pathways to the Presidency in 2027. He can't afford to rely on the success of the merger or alliance with the other major opposition parties.

It's really unfortunate that Abure and his co-travellers have shown clearly without any jot of doubt that they are unrepentant political 'partiprenuers' in the mould of APC or even worse.

Probably because he was the only Christian ..and their was desperate quest for a Christian president ..then especially Igbo own.

What made him special was that he iwas a Christian and Igbo..1.the last president was a Muslim 2.the other two candidates tribes have been president.

All other thing were just to market him and whitewash him....simple!

This is one of the reasons why the Igbo man will never be President. It's a self inflicted reason. Politics is not activism. There are times to keep quiet as a strategy and there are times to speak. I will never want to have someone like Kenneth Okonkwo as a supporter. He is never rock solid.

Kenneth has unfettered access to HE Peter Obi, he should have reached out to him privately. Saying it publicly is an act of chasing clout. Someone like Kenneth Okonkwo already thinks he is better than Peter Obi and, maybe he is already thinking of supplanting Peter Obi! That's how the immature mind of an Igbo man thinks.

The first and most important thing in politics is unity. The North has it, now the South West is getting it. Even the South South is becoming more united than the South East.

What is wrong with this individualism with the Igbo man? Always thinking he is better than the next Igbo man. Mark my words, very soon Kenneth Okonkwo will clash publicly with Peter Obi.

This is also why the Igbos lost the civil war. Idiots like Kenneth Okonkwo who thinks that they know better openly plotted a coup against Ojukwu during wartime! Just imagine that.

Ojukwu must be commended for even trying . His biggest problems during the war was managing a bunch of wild horses(Igbos) some of the most disloyal, divided people on earth!

If it was the North or the Yoruba fighting the rest of Nigeria then, they would have won!

If Kenneth Okonkwo wants let him keep countering Peter Obi publicly. Acting and being a real executive Governor of a state are two different things. Coming out to publicly confront the position of his leader and boss is the most infantile and juvenile political move ever!

Like I said earlier Kenneth Okonkwo have already lost my respect.

You can’t honestly compare the scale of corruption of Tinubu and Atiku with Obi’s . Obi is a small boy where Tinubu and Atiku corruption dey . Not religion or ethnicity . Corruption does not discriminate on those two things .
