AbuTwins:I am glad I had indicated that you pay close attention to the dictionary definition of the word Contradiction as right from the very first compilation it is clear that you have a hard time grasping the meaning well. MATTHEW - Jesus Christ was taken to the High Priest, Caiaphas. 57 The men who arrested Jesus led him to the house of Caiaphas the high priest. The teachers of the law and the older Jewish leaders were gathered there. - Matthew 26 vs 57MARK - Jesus Christ was taken to the High Priest, Caiaphas. 53 Those who arrested Jesus led him to the house of the high priest. All the leading priests, the older Jewish leaders, and the teachers of the law were gathered there.JOHN - Jesus Christ was tied and brought Him before Annas 12 Then the soldiers with their commander and the Jewish guards arrested Jesus. They tied himAbsolutely no contradiction in all of the passages. ![]() |

AbuTwins:Once again, I am glad I had indicated that you pay close attention to the dictionary definition of the word Contradiction as right from the very first compilation it is clear that you have a hard time grasping the meaning well. Clearly, even in this case, you did not find any contradictions so why assert a contradiction? ![]() con·tra·dic·tion |

Kobojunkie:Oya, Comment Kobo! Before the Sanhedrin: Matthew: Jesus is brought to Caiaphas first, then to the full Sanhedrin. Mark: Jesus is brought directly to the house of the high priest. Luke: The Sanhedrin assembly is not explicitly mentioned. John: Jesus is brought to Annas first, then to Caiaphas. |

Kobojunkie:Was he taken to the Caiaphas the High priest directly or to Annas before Caiaphas the High priest? |

AbuTwins:The accounts do not give a definitive statement as far as where He was first taken as soon as He left Gethsemane. The following are possible scenarios a) He may have been taken to Anas and then to Caiaphas b) He may have been taken to Caiaphas, then to Anas and then back to Caiaphas c) He may have been put in a cell before it all .... Where He was taken FIRST is not established by any of the accounts. So your OP on this and your claim that there exists some sort of contradiction is a lie. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:John said he was taken to Anas before Caiaphas! Others didn't report that! Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 26:57-68): In Matthew's Gospel, Jesus is first taken to Caiaphas the high priest. After being taken to Caiaphas, Peter denies Jesus three times. Then, in Matthew 26:69-75, it mentions Peter's denial of Jesus. Gospel of Mark (Mark 14:53-65): Mark also states that Jesus was first brought before Caiaphas the high priest. The high priest and the Sanhedrin sought witnesses to testify against Jesus. Jesus is then condemned for blasphemy. Gospel of Luke (Luke 22:54-71): Luke's account also begins with Jesus being brought before Caiaphas. It includes Peter's denial of Jesus and the subsequent events. |

Kobojunkie:You said I lied and I brought out the verse! When a writer explicitly states that Jesus was taken to A before C and others said he was taken to C without mentioning A. If only the former book was available to a set of people and the other books available to another set of people do you think they'll have the same story? Anyways you're Kobo as usual! |

AbuTwins:Stop lying! ![]() Absolutely none of the passages state Jesus Christ was first taken to Caiaphas before anyone else. Abeg, go bug someone else with these desperate religious rumbles of yours. I get better show watch today. ![]() |
