The steel rolling part of the plant has always been functional.

What is abandoned is the Blast Furnace complex that converts ore to iron. The blast furnace was never turned on even for one minute.

They import the steel they roll.

Another way to steal money. That plant was never viable due to its location amongst other logistical challenges. Until we start holding this idiot accountable, they won’t stop taking us for granted

See how the true enemies of progress and the nation are all out to condemn this laudable feat.

These people will rather see Nigeria burn to ashes.

Their hatred that their candidate lost to a Yoruba man is what is driving them insane with hatred and evil .

The Obidient movement as I will always say is the new body of the excorcised demons of ipob.

Nothing good can come from such a hateful evil spirit.

Steel Industrial Development Projects - I smell a rat:
•I would like to side your comments for various reasons:
1. What was the Original Contract Agreement with the Russians - who Collected ALL the Money in FOREX- but could Not Produce a Single Iron Rodds but ran back to their Country?- Putin would not like to do this in his own Country but here in Nigeria it is allowed because of Corruption?
2.this Minister is quoting NBillions, figures here and there, under the Current Budgets-but what is the Performance of the Budgets now?
3.Who is the Supervising Ministry in this Critical Areas of our National Development?
4.Where are the National Assembly Members - for their Oversight,as they love to be sitting down, while Oversights works are being sidelines?
-Remember how one Elumelu of Power Committee -was involved in Corruption then!
All they do now is sitting and calling for a New National Anthem,as if that would reduce Corruption or Rice Prices!
Who does not like to be staying in their Comfort Zones?
5.What is the Production Capacity of something - a Steel Company that is yet to take off?
6.Before a Steel -Productions can take Place-anywhere,what is the Power / Light Position -to Constantly Supply the Steel Industry- Continuously and Must be Constant?
-What is the Role of the Power Minister here? Has he signed any Agreement 🤝?
7.How many Steel Productions would be made by Next Year( 2- years) then) ,when they will be reporting on their Performances again?
8• How Many Jobs ( direct and Indirect will be Created through this Steel Productions in Nigeria?
•9.Nigerians don't Trust some of these -MADs ( Min, Agencies and DEPT e g DISCOS, NNPC,Min of Poverty Alieviation),etc, because of Corruption and even some Ministers have been Enemies of Nigeria-and the Masses -through Corruption - no job for the Youths,no good roads,no health care delivery, etc,but the Budgets are being Spent without TRANSPARENCY.
10.President Tinubu:
Sir,you should get a New Organisation to do this Steel Industry - Not the Old Ones, which had become Stale till date, otherwise, we will just be fetching Water into the Basket 🧺.
-Do you know the Millions of Jobs that can be Created in this Important Steel Productions Sector?
I smell a rat here!

Import steel when we have iron ore right here in Nigeria?
This is not just about steel or Nigeria, it’s a colonization thing that Africans will never use their resources but export them to Europeans and import the finished goods. To keep Africa poor and dependent continuously

Lol china imports iron ore from Australia yet produce steel cheaper than Australia that's who u want to compete against?

Sure in the long run we would go back to steel production when the deman has been established and industrial players are well grounded

Now it's better we focus on aluminum thsn steel even

Focus on cheap import is steel use them to produce things and send to Europe

So why is it that no west African country convert anything to finished goods but always exporting to Europe and importing the finished goods.
From uranium to cocoa to oil to iron ore to blood diamonds and many others

See this one.

Mao's Great Leap Forward started with not one single steel plant.

But look at where China is today.

I know you guys will prefer the import racket and the only reason you are groaning over the naira devaluation is that it is killing your import business.

Nigeria will reclaim her industrial status and you can all cry from now to eternity
